I would call the doctor. My son had stomach viruses when he was a baby and I can't remember him ever having white poops. It may be a deficiency of some sort if he has been sick.

did your baby have any abdomen xrays finished those days? if so, and they gave him barium, it would have grew to develop into the stool a clay like white colour, my daughter had to take that for an xray even as her physician idea she had acid reflux disease, yet when no longer, call your physician workplace and tell them the placement, and keep a stool pattern, as they are going to favor it

mhh is he keeping fluids down and is this an unusual amount. as long as he doesnt have diarrea he shouldnt be that bad. call your pediatrician. mine never had white poop. sometimes green but not white. is it formula that he didnt digest properly?

I have done that before when I have had diarrhea. Has he been eating white foods? I had been eating rice. It means the food is going through so fast that it did not have time to change color. He needs something for his diarrhea. I recommend acidophilus, and yarrow.

I am no expert but if I were you, I should call a doctor just to make sure. It may or may not be serious.... but Its ALWAYS better to be safe than sorry.

no it is defanetly normal newborns may somtimes poop black also.. Just a sign of the baby cleaning out his system.....enjoy your new bundle of joy...
