I like the way the handle is on the evenflo infant car seat. Does anybody know of any of those car seats sold along with the double stroller? If so, which store? I have been looking but I can't find it.

I'm almost due to have my daughter and my fiance and i keep debating over what we should call her, our first daughter's name is Alicia Ivana Ornelas , i wanted the new baby's name to also start with an A. I proposed Ariana and Auriele. She's gonna be half hispanic and half african american i dont know what tocall her what do u guys think?

I feel real confortable with him in the room, I am nursing so he still wakes up at night, I don't really want him to be in another room but my husband thinks it's a good idea ( he is running out of room in his cradle)what about putting the crib in the room, is that a bad idea.

My 12 month old baby HATES riding in the car. He started in an infant-carrier style seat. We then switched him to a more comfortable rear-facing seat. Recently, we turned that same seat around to be forward facing. We've tried giving him toys, a sipee cup, putting a mirror on the seat he faces. It doesn't matter if the trip is for 5 minutes or 45 minutes. He starts screaming the second he realizes that we are putting him in his car seat. He gets so upset that he gets red splotches all over his face and he throws up. Sometimes, we can entertain him by playing peekaboo or giving him Cheerios, but this only keeps him calm for a few minutes. My mother-in-law suggested that he may have motion sickness.

Is there anything that we can do to make riding in the car less of a nightmare?

I will be making an 8 hour trip right after Thanksgiving to spend a month with my family while my husband is deployed. My son at this point is about 7 months old and eats about 32 oz of formula a day and 2-3 jars of food. What are some tips to make my trip not too long but still get my son's needs met? What can I do to make the trip more enjoyable for him? We are going by car.

my son is 9 and half months old and is the only child in the family. whenever i go for prayers, he crawls to another kids say around + or - 6 months. he bites them, snacthes there food, and hold them tightly. and no matter how hard i try to keep him to me. he just wants to crawl.

My son was born weighing 11lbs 8 oz and was 23 in long. I saw a show on TV stating that the percentage of high birth weight babies is small but can't remember what the said, I have searched the net and can't find anything on this. I am interested in finding out just how rare it is to have a baby that weighs over 11 pounds.

I am very concerned, she doesn't drink from a bottle and neither from a sippy cup yet
I want to travel with her but I don't know what to do during take off and landing to ease ear pressure and to get her sucking
She drinks with a spoon the bottle is out of the question and so is the sippy cup
what can i give her? to prevent the pain due to air pressure

I have an eight month old daughter and I don't know what I should do! I keep washing my hands and I have antibacterial hand stuff in every room. But she's crawling all over the place and I feel like crap. I'm so tired and I feel guilty because I don't feel much like playing. I don't have anyone that can come over and help me. Any suggestions on what might make me feel better or what we can do? I already have cold medicine and cough drops, but they do not seem to work for more than half an hour! :(

Infant with chrons?
I have a 13month old infant with a lot of stomach problems. He has been positive for gerd, allergies to milk and soy, and laryngotracheomalacia.
Since he was a lot younger I have been concerned over the family history of ulcertive colitis and chrons disease (including my mother, they are watching me for any signs of it also, I am due a scope soon) its concernign because his boughts with diarea cramping and a lot of mucous in his stools, he also has a lot of problems gaining weight no matter what he eats....
I am worried!! He has an appointment with the stand in gi doc thursday because his reg one is not in town, and where hes not sleeping at all and always acting like he is in pain, I felt it was important to get him seen soon.....
Does it sound like chrons?

my baby girl is nearly 6 months old and believe it or not she has never really slept during the day at all even when she was newborn. She sleeps when in the car or taken out for a walk but the minute car stops or walk ends she starts to cry and wont fall back to sleep again. Is there anyway that I can get her to sleep for an hour or two during the day so I can rest or get some housework done. I follow Gina Ford as much as i can and she is fine with her feeding routine etc but refuses to rest in the day..... I would be so grateful if anyone out there can give me some good advice, Ive tried leaving her to cry in her cot but she only gets herself into a state and puts her into a bad mood the rest of the day. Thanks
