My wife and I are thinking about Tyler Jaden. We both like TJ for short. Even though it doesn't have to be TJ we both would like the baby to have a middle name. Do you guys have any suggestions on first and middle names that go together? Thanks.

Do you have any tips about how to stop a baby from crying like all day long it seems. I feed her I change her, I play with her, I try and hold her, I burp her, I give her her soother, and she just cries, she demands constant attention, and when I give her cuddles she just cries right through it. I want to start ripping out my hair. Does anyone have any idea what this could be. She is six weeks and has been getting progressivly more fussy as the weeks go by. Also any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Baby food this week & I can not get him to burp after he eats. Is it normal for a baby not to burp after eating baby food? He takes a bottle about 45mins-1hour after eating food (that's as soon as he'll take it, won't take it directly after eating) and he burps after that. But sometimes he don't take a bottle & never burps. Am I just being over concerned because this is my first baby?

Is it true that all babies have/are born with blue eyes? Articles and/or links would be great.

Thanks!

What's the best way to deal with tummy time? Should I let my 2 month old cry it out, because she absolutely hates it, but I know she needs it. What's the best course of action? Thanks

My new born gets hiccups several times per day. The pediatrician says its normal. I tried giving him water but he won't even take it. Besides the literature indicates that unless they experience dehydration babies almost never need/drink water.

Have any of you heard or had a baby that has a consistant cough? Mine wakes up in the middle of the night and coughs sometimes for 3 hours at a time. I have been to the dr several times and they have scheduled several tests within the last month. They think it's reflux, I think it's asthma, I have a history of asthma in my family...tried formula change, previcide, Axid, and he is on a inhaler. Also tried a humidifier and elivated his bed nothing has worked...what do ya'll think

I am having the hardest time getting my 9 month old daughter to take an oral antibiotic. This is her first time on one and she gags, spits, throws up, screams, etc. I have tried everything that I know to do. I never had this much trouble with any of my other children. She is strictly breastfed and will only take an occasional drink from a cup so slipping it in on her just hasn't worked. Here is what I have tried:
Adding flavoring
Dipping cookies in it
Freezing it
Squirting it way in the back of her mouth (don't try this one at home moms, she instantly threw up all over me)
Mixing it with her cereal (now she won't eat her cereal at all)

I am at a total loss. I even asked her doctor and he didn't have any other suggestions but stated that she had to have this particular medication. I even tried adding it to kool-aid which is something she would not ordinarily get. HELP! Thanks!

My 12 month old son goes to bed with a half full or water sippy cup. I know this needs to be stopped so this is not the question. My problem is we got rid of the binkie back in May and replaced the bottle with a sippy cup full time. He wants to suck when he goes to bed, I have tried taking away the cup and letting him cry and when I come in to check on him, he had the blanket corner/ thumb/ toes or whatever else in his mouth. I dont what him sucking his thumb so what do I do now? Do I even worry about it.

My 3 (almost 4) month old son is crying uncontrolably. He is showing signs of teething.. I give him a rag to chew on, I do the baby tylenol, orajel on his gums, i give him frozen things to chew on, but nothing helps. He wont stop screaming, and it upsets me because I cant help him. Have any of you experienced this? What can I do for him? Its mostly during the day, not during the night. I cant put him down to nap or anything

I've noticed that my 1 yr. old has been getting the chills lately. He got one on Saturday, two on Sunday and 1 on Monday. He didn't have a feber, nor it was cold in the room. It has never happened before, only like twice when he was a new born. Other thatn that he's been acting normal, he's very active and eating fine.

What could it be? Should I worry? You know, as a first time mom I worry about every little detail! :'(

I think it's fine as long as it is covered up. But I just get sick when I hear people talk about it as "a natural occurence." Well, so is taking a wiz and a dump. There was a story on the radio about a man gettin arrested for peeing in his backyard. His neighbor saw him. So why is it ok for women to flop our breasts just because she has a baby. They are both private parts and both are natural occurences.
