I'm just curious. Did you do it because of his dad being circed? Or cosmetic reasons? Did you do any research before hand? If so, did you use reputable sources like the AAP? Please don't turn this into a debate, I am truely just curious!

My church choir has the awesome opportunity to go to NYC for a music conference for 6 days (leaving late Thurs returning early Weds). My dilemma is that I am still nursing my 6 mo. old daughter who will turn 7 mo. while I am away. She already receives bottles intermittently, but I nurse mostly. I don't know if I should try to pump some while I am away and then try to re-establish my full supply when I return, or if I should just stop before going. I wanted to take her with, but that was the deal-breaker, Dad will be keeping baby and her 2 big brothers, and he said if he is taking vac. days to watch the boys, he wanted to spend time with his baby girl, too...so I am blessed in that respect.

I have this feeling that mothers who breastfeed and co-sleep look down on mother who do not. Why is that? Do these mothers feel that they are superior because they do all of these things? I understand the point of disagreeing but some people can get down right ugly in this place. I do not breastfeed and I do not co-sleep unless I have to. Does that make me a lazy or selfish parent? If people don’t do things normally it is for a reason that they feel comfortable with. I also sometimes think women who do these thing feel they should get commended for their decision to breastfeed or co-sleep? Have these thing turned into some kind of a great motherly thing to feel ever so proud about? By all means I’m not saying all mothers who breastfeed are like this but the majority I’ve spoken with are like this. Can someone please enlighten me on this??

you see the reason why mothers love their newbornes is due to high levels of oxytocin and vassopressin. same hormones that trigger sexual love among mates. but women are always claiming that their love is heavenly and divine. but science says otherwise. what do you say abt this

I used Pampers Swaddlers on my daughter and was totally pleased. After that one pack ran out, I had several $1-$1.50 off coupons for Huggies so I bought a pack of them and boy am I sorry. They leak constantly and fit weird on her. I was wondering if it's just me. I will switch back to Pampers Swaddlers when this pack runs out.

Well, I guess it varies depending on the woman and her health but is there an average?
What are the most and least quantities?

I am pretty sure my son has some new teeth coming in because he is really cranky, is drooling like crazy, and has a small fever. He already got his two bottom teeth a while ago but was never this mad about it. He pretty much fusses all day and sometimes cries so much we cant make him stop. But my main concern is he is not eating or drinking too much right now maybe like two ounces from a bottle then he freaks out and gets mad. Once hes gets like this he doesnt want anything near his mouth. He also use to eat his baby foods and cereals but now he has no intrest. Has anyone elsese baby refused to eat or drink while teething? Also how did you get thru the night whith them? Mine wakes up in the middle of the night very fussy and is tough to get back to sleep. Thanks for any help!!!!!

This information is particularly for a poll purpose. And btw, all information from the Academy of Pediatrics and the SIDS foundation has not proved that this is a good practice. It is proving to cause such a condition as Flat Head syndrome (which, incrediably enough, evident by looking at infants who were primarily kept on their backs.) Thanks for you help.
