My son's name is Alexander, so I love that name. Reginald isn't that common here in the US, but it's an interesting name. Would you call him Reggie?

Hmm, it sounds a little too stereotypically English for me, it comes off also as a little snooty and pampered.

Of course names ALWAYS fit a baby, no matter what; if you've ever heard a mother name a child something outlandish, and you've been a little skittish about it, when you meet the baby in person you see the name fits him/her perfectly.

It's all about love like that.

Its great if you expect him to become a king or a prince (or a czar). Short of this I'm not so sure.

How about Alexander Reginald?

I find it to be an ugly name for a child. I hope she will reconsider! Maybe she should name him Alexander Reginald????? Much better!

He could go by Reggie or RJ. Try Chase or Case

It isn't my taste but it's her baby and older names are coming back. Reggie isn't too bad of a nickname.

As long as she doesn't mind the nickname "Reggie" I think its fine. Not too many "Reggies" around these days.

It reminds me of the father on Family Matters, I think that was his real-life name. He's a short, stocky, bald, black man.

Poor kid... I see a sad future of teasing and insecurity. Switch the two and it'll be fine. as long as he keep the reg part a secret.
