My 5 week old daughter's urine smells like bacon????? I feel really dumb for asking this question, but why? This is the first time it has happened.

Please don't give the baby water, as an early post recommended. She's too young to have water fill her belly, she needs the calories and nutrition of b.milk/formula. (Water will also give her loose stools.)
If you're breast feeding, could be your diet. I wouldn't be too concerned as long as everything else is okay -- she's having plenty of wet diapers and regular bowel movements.
If the problem persists, simply call your doctor. They've gotten every question out there, and won't think you're dumb for asking!

If you are a breastfeeding mom, it could come from your diet. If you are really concerned about it, I would call your pediatrician.

give her more water, it will flush it out of her system
