My 6-month old daughter loves it. She rarely spits up after drinking it, not so with nursing, probably because of variety of foods in my diet. And don't believe that there is no difference in Organic vs Regular! Pasteurization is not the issue, it is the pesticides, antibiotics and hormones that are different. (BTW pasteurization also kills the GOOD bacteria, but that's another story...) Similac also has an organic variety - for about $6 more per large can!! Don't think so!
When buying organic, always look for the USDA certified organic logo on the label. Also, Gerber now has organic cereal and baby foods. I am trying to make my own as much as possible, but have a few organic 1st foods in my pantry. All you need to do is back off on the spices a little, but you can puree food your family is eating (while keeping in mind the foods kids can't have until after a year or more such as honey, citrus, nuts, etc.).
Does it make sense to give them bland vegetables with no seasoning at all and then expect them to receive table food as manna from heaven when thrust upon them at 3 yrs old? No. Just keep it mild and they will learn to enjoy the foods you love.

I haven't tried the organic, but my son did really well on the Parent's Choice Soy formula. A friend of mine used the organic and said that there was really no difference. Organic formula is not going to be that different than the regular. It is all pasteurized so anything harmful is going to he destroyed anyway. It is just a marketing ploy to make more money
