I have a 17 yr. old daughter and a 17 yr. old grandaughter who has been here 8 months. The grandaughter has mild learning disabilites the daughter is in honor classes. The grandaughter has had problems with drinkng and drugs in the past and was sexually active. The daughter has not had those same problems and has a boyfriend of 18 months. The grandaughter has anger control issues and a potty mouth when she is angry. I am stricter on the grandaughter and she has to have boyfriends to the house and inspected before she goes off. We did spebd over $500 for her to go the prom...but naturally we are accused of favoritism all the time. But they are different. At 17 when they ask for an explanation it seems proper to answer them.

me and my boyfriend have proteted sex everytime and i don't think i'm pregnant and i can't come up with any reason why i would be but i have been worrying about it alot because my stomach hurts and i feel like throwing up often. myperiod should be due in about 5 days. i really don't know if i'm pregnant, am i? or am i just so worried, stressed, and paranoid i am that i get stomach pains because my friend went through this and she actually had unprotected sex but she wasn't pregnant, just really worried.

I was wondering how i could convince my mom to get me a cell phone. I'm in 9th grade and will have to walk to and from school, cross-country practices every day ( meets on weekends most of the time ) and will also be in school clubs. So i kind of thought having a cell phone would be a good idea.

I'm 14, and yeah, I know I have a kid. But why do these 12 year olds wear a bunch of make up and act like little whores? I read one question where this one girls mom wanted to take her 12 year old daughter for a bikini wax!!! I mean, she's still a kid. I'M still a kid. I see 9 year olds wearing mini skirts and belly tops. I mean, seriously people, you wonder why all these old perves look at your daughters, but look at what they wear! Before he ended ninth grade this year he was bothered by a group of boys. who hit him around, etc. I don't know what to tell him. If he fights he can be charged with assault AND suspended from school 5 days minimum even if your INVOLVED witha physical altercation.

Its not so much the suspension part but the assault part, my son has a lot to live for, he wants to complete college and ahve a profession in an extremely competitive job market. In order to have the bets chance of making it your record needs to be SPOTLESS.

Or should I tell him to fight so the kids wont think he is a pushover, etc.

I was on the computer 5 minutes ago and there was a large tick on the wall and I hit it with the zapper but it did not zap it and it fell into the computer desk area and now it can get on me when I am online or sleeping.

I am 14. My sister is 11. This morning I bumped into my sister by accident and said sorry. She didn't answer me. I said sorry again for at least 5 more times and she still didn't answer. She was mad at me that I bumped into her & didn't talk to me for the whole day. I felt bad for the whole day because I didn't mean to bump her. I didn't want her to be mad at me for that. I told my parents when they came home and they were upset at me for worrying about "little" things and said I should grow up & worry about mature things. I explained to them that I wasn't immature. I was that way because I love my sister and want her to be happy. They still said I am immature. They said I should stop hanging out with friends because I am getting more wild and difficult. They said I can't go to my best friend's party this Saturday because I care about my sister and want to say sorry. Have you ever get punished for being caring? Is this reasonable?

I want to help other people and do nice stuff for them, but I always end up getting hurt or feel unappreciated.

My friend asked me I would make him a CD and download like 10songs for him. I did it, and brought my laptop to school. I didn't even get a thank you.

I spent 2hours yesterday doing health homework for the rest of my class and today I found out that I did the wrong part (lack of communication) and the rest of the class just yelled at me and the 2hours I spent was wasted.

I tried to do some nice things for my bf as well and he didn't even say thank you.

I can't help but help other people and do nice things, I've tried to stop but I can't.

I said something about not feeling appreciated to my bf and now he wont talk to me and he's gone off in a sh*tty!!

What do I do? I feel like I can't win!

unfortunatly my son is a manifestation of one of my bad qualities. I would change if i knew he would benefit from it. I would like him to enjoy his life more. He just seems so miserable.
