I am a 19 year old boy from NY. I am concerned and worried that I am near death. I believe that I am getting old and will die soon. I don't currently believe that I have or am suffering any illness. I feel worried. Am I near death?
Also, should I write my will and make funeral arrangements? Now, or when?

You should talk to a psychologist.

in a way, it's actually good to think about death because you never know when it's going to happen; you can live to be 100 or you can be hit by a bus tomorrow (God forbid), but you never know, so it's good to at least aknowledge the possibility of dying, but you really shouldn't dwell in it,though. If you live like you're going to be here forever, you take things for granted and do stupid things that could possibly kill you or cost you time, but if you're always so afraid of dying, you never really give yourself a chance to live and it's just such a waste. So though it's wise to keep the concept in the back of your mind, try not to let it consume you. Just live each day like it's your last, so that when that day does come, your time here will have been worthwhile and you won't have any unfinished business and will be able to rest in peace. Anyway, i don't think it's necessary to make any funeral arrangements or anything that drastic, but yes it would be smart to write a will and talk to your family/friends about certain arrangements you'd want when it comes to that, just in case, because you really never know when something will happen.

I think that you need to just calm down ( not to be mean or anything ) and just look at the facts. I personally think you're kind of paranoid (again no offense) and could use some help. There is no reason to believe you are near death. If something happened to you earlier in your life, then maybe that is having some after affects on you, and you should probably talk to somebody about it. =] hope i helped.

It sounds like you are depressed. You need to talk to a therapist right away. It also helps if you think about all the people who love you such as your parents, siblings, best friends, aunts, uncles, cousins, grandparents, teachers, or even just someone you met on the street who you may have influenced once in your life. It always makes me feel better to think of all those people who love and care about me. I'd also suggest a hobby or volunteering so that you can take your mind of things and focus it on something productive that you enjoy.

Seek some psychiatric counseling. Sounds like you have obsessive tendencies. You can get help for this.

(And, no, it's not likely that you're near death. Not a lot of 19-year-olds in the obituaries everyday, are there?)

honestly i think this whole feeling of death is a serious overreaction. but, if you would feel comfortable making a will and whatnot, i mean, it couldn't ever hurt to be prepared for the unthinkable. but seriously i think you should see someone about this. my sister was the same way when she was about 15, and my mom took her to see a psych. and she was prescribed zoloft, and has been perfectly fine now for almost ten years. ( and no, she is no longer taking the meds. she took then until probably about 17-18). good luck.

I think that you should go to the doc and get checked.

If you realy think that you are going to die soon then mabey you have an illness that your not aware of.. or that the docs skipped over last time you went in for a check-up

if you are healthy then you should prolly go and see someone that can help you with your paranoia

Sounds like generalized anxiety disorder. You should see a psychiatrist.

If you really believe you are ill, visit a general practitioner and tell them you just feel something is wrong with you. Maybe they can run you through a gauntlet of tests to ensure that everything is as it should be.

Make arrangements with a psychiatrist.
Life is what you make of it. If you worry about death, your life will revolve around death rather than life.

dude... you're only 19. i think that you need to goto a counselor or something. start going to church and praying. if you're really feeling like you're going to die soon, maybe God is sending you messeges. you need to pray if you're of a praying religion and get some help for your mind.

good luck
hope you dont die
