Mentor a boy, 15 (Big Brother Big Sisters) and we have been matched for 2 years. The last couple of months have been very trying,lots of attitude and litttle real conversations. Recently he took a computer game home with him without asking (he hid it in his sweatshirt), which is stealing. This is the second time he has done this, the first time we talked about it and i just chaulk it up to him making a simple mistake. So once i realized the game was gone, I went to his house and confronted him and he admitted it and gave me the game. We had a talk and he was not respectful and was not remorsefull at all that he took the game. He also did not say sorry or apologize. I am really upset about this. I've been with him 2 years and he has this little respect for me. I think there is something bigger going on and I asked him and he told me it wasn't any of my busines. What should I do? I feel like i can't do anything more and should start to end our match.

Hi Guys!
My family is moving into our first house this week! And I wanted your opinion on my theme ideas for my 3 1/2 year old son's bedroom. My son, Jason has a speech deveolpment problem so he can't really talk to me to tell me what he wants!I want to you to remember back to when you were 9-12 years old. What kind of room would you like to bring your friends into. Any suggestions or ideas would be great!

Room one: A Zoo Theme. He loves the Croc Hunter & Animals.

Room Two: Nemo: This can be changed to a underwater theme later on. We can put a 29 gallon fish tank with saltwater fish into his room too.

Room three: Cars, You know the movie "CARS" This can be changed to Nascar later on too.

Give me your own ideas and design ideas.

I don't quite feel fully comfortable with asking this question, but if a 14 year old does something REALLY bad and illegal, like fighting officers, carjacking, Identity theft, embezzlement, felonies, etc, should the child be spanked?

I'm 5'7 1/2" and 12 years old. My dad's 6'2" and my mom's 5'6".
I had my period a year ago (if that makes a difference).

I hav a brother and a sister who are 8 and 10, my mom and dad dont get home till late today so i wanted to know if it wuld be legal to go outside and play with all the other kids in the neighborhood, we live in a really safe environment with a security guard at the gate. my mom is just afraid that if somethng happens that requires direct medical attention or needs to be treated by an adult and they arent there, they can go to jail, plz confirm this if it is true, she wuld luv for us to go outside especially with the weather warming up but they arent home most of the time, plz tell me if its legal or illegal and y, if it is possible, plz giv me a source, thanx, by the way, i live in VA, if u need that info, thanx again!!!

Deleted Answer: Quasar/laser quest centres should go down a treat. ie you get a harness, laser gun in a dark uv lit arena and play Quake for real... the systems have team scares and bring music. Or for a weekend how about a surf trip to Newquay. And theres the point... Very silly you forgot your city and country so can be anywhere on the planet so we cant do this properly as I know good things in thailand like the temple of the tigers (lots of sites) www.tigertemple.co.uk Where you can really play with well looked after and much loved tigers. Or go snorkling on the Great Barrier Reef In Australia. Seriously you could live there... this is internantional ... You need to give a city and country and rough budget with questions like this

I just replied to a question about a person who's 15y/o daughter asked her for the pill & if she should get it for her. I was very surprised about some responses where people said no. I was wondering why they would say that? In my opinion, if a teen is asking for the means to protect themselves, why should we refuse? There are so many teens having babies out there, and people complain about them. But when they are asking for the pill or condoms they throw up a fuss & say no! Yes, they are too young to be sexually active, but if they are going to be responsible about it, why not give them the protection? We cannot control everything our teens do, so why would we deny them the pill & condoms? Teens will have sex sometime regardless of how much supervision they have. I remember in high school, kids snuck off into the woods and did the deed at noon!! With that kinda stuff going on, how can you say no?

How can I get my 15 yo to get more excited about her sister's arrival? we are taking in a 13 yo girl into foster care (we're hoping to eventually adopt). she's coming to live with us tomorrow. my 15 yo (also adopted when she was almost 12) is not all to excited about her arrival. the 13 yo will be sharing a room with our 17 yo daughter and my 15 yo is sharing with our 14 yo daugter. i don't think it has to do with that or sharing her parents as we are already a large family and the other kids are syked. what can i do to get her more excited (if I can)?

Do you think I could find a babysitter with scrapbooking skills. Id buy all the stuff and provide the photos. The kids go to bed at 7 and she'd have til 10 so thought this would be a good way to fill the time. Do you think a teen into scrapbooking would be up for that. - scrapbooking is something I enjoy looking at, and while I have time to put my kids photos togehter, I do not have time to scrapbook.

I am experiencing stiffness in my lower abdomen for 2 weeks now. I had a pregnancy test this morning and it was negative. The stiffness is not painfull...it just does not feel normal. Could I be pregnant? or am I going through menapause at an early stage? My period came for 2 days this month which has never happened to me before. I am 33 yrs old.

last few month my 9th grader is extremely tired and angry in the morning, because his body aiches to get up. Today first time I've noticed a light redness in one eye.He has asthma, and we think he is educated well enough not to use the substances. Am I alarmed for no reasons?
