Adolescent - March 2007

I don't know if I'm over reacting or if I have really been being abused (emotionally and verbally) all my life. (was abused physically but it stopped) I live with my mom and we fight a lot. She is always telling me I'm fat or I'm stupid or I'm immature or something like that. Or she's yelling at me telling me how much she can't wait until I'm 18 so I can leave. When I agree with her she hits me. Am I just over reacting? Or is it really abuse? If it is abuse, How can I get away legally so I'm not being called in as a runaway. This has gotten worse since I started working and being more independent. What can I do? I can't live like this anymore it's slowly killing me. I'm 17. Where can I go?

would it be like a good choice or w/e to actually start trying in skool and stop getting suspended and getting iss and stuff. is education really that important. should i actually pay attention in class instead of falling asleep and stuff. cause i think my grades are kinda bad rite now but o well. if i stopped getting in iss and stuff would my grades come up. and iss is (in-skool-suspension) for those people who are dumb and dont kno that.

Have you ever noticed that if you step on the dog's paw he is your friend again five minutes later? Well I have. Ally, the dog, taught me to be more easy going and that it takes to much energy to hate other people and things. So for the past two weeks I have been in a much better mood and much happier. All because of a dog. All my friends(including my boyfriend) noticed I was easier to be around.

I recently found out that a 10 year old girl in my neighborhood is pregnant. The father is her brothers best friend who is 17. Isnt that sick? The world is sick. The boy and her ageed to have sex he claims and her parents would prosecute becasue they say it was consentual sex. I think you should be at least 13 to have sex.

Anyways, I decided to write a book so here is chapter 1.

Aubrey Taylor woke with a start, drenched in sweat. She felt her forehead with her hand, making sure she didn’t have a fever. When she was sure she didn’t, Aubrey crept out of bed and stood in front of a mirror that was hanging on the wall.
Aubrey’s face was flushed. She wiped the sweat off with her old T-Shirt and sat down on the creaky old bed she slept on, hands shaking.
“What an awful dream,” Aubrey muttered to herself. Indeed, the dream she was having was not a peaceful one. Aubrey had dreamed about a man and a woman with a baby in her arms, running through a dark, deserted village. The voices that followed them seemed haunted and ghostly.

My ex boyfriend and I are sophmores. We dated for about 6 months when we were freshman. This school year he started dating my friend. They broke up because he didnt feel the same was about her as she did him. I cried over him for 7 months. While he was dating my friend he would be a jerk to me. Lately hes been flirty. My friends were on a class trip for the day and my friend Gary came back. I yelled I missed you Gary and my ex yelled what about me. He has hugged me, sat at my lunch table, tried to touch me. Sometimes I can catch him just staring at me. I was upset so he asked me what was wrong and if I wanted a hug. I'm hesitant to get too close to him anymore after crying for 7 months. I dont know if I see him as a friend or more. What should I do? Oh and by the way we broke up because of communication problems. He was really overprotective of me and never left me alone. I was to scared to tell I needed alone time. I dont know if I should give him a second chanece. What do you think?

Well at school on friday we had our polio injections. The nurse asked me what I had eaten today and i said nothing. My boyfriends parents (mainly his dad) don't seem to like me. I don't know what I did, but this has happened to us before.
