maybe you could offer to fill in a food diary for a week just to show her that you are eating, and having a regular balanced diet.

She is being cautious because anorexia and bulimia is on the increase and is common in your age group. It would have struck her as unusual that you hadn't eaten and then couldn't remember yesterdays meals. Are you thin?
Do you have an eating disorder? If not then good but if you do please seek help hun.
The school nurse was doing her job by making sure you are okay.

And keeping a food journal is okay but remember you can make up what you eat so even that may not convince her

What does it matter - she is just the school nurse!! If you are that concerned maybe you should tell your mum what happened and see if she will write a letter to vouch that you have been eaing regularly!! In a sense though it is good that the nurse is taking this matter seriously. You must realise that there are many young women who do have eating disorders and if it was noticed at an earlier stage their eating disorder may have been prevented. So although a pain that you have to prove you do not have an eating disorder just remember at least she is doing her job properly and not turning a blind eye!!

ha, i got called in for that. i was 5ft3 and weighing just 6st. had to fill out a 'food diary' n stuff like that. anywayz, they eventually stopped after they saw i ate like a horse at home n i was only so small cuz i did so much exercise.
could always do the amusing stunt i did. took the biggest MacyD's in to her office and sat there eating the whole thing. needless to say i puked up after, can't stand that plastic crap!

did u have those 4 beers after u had ur polio? cuz that could b y u felt so funky as WELL as drinking on an empty tum.

Just tell her that you are eating and that you just can't remember what you had the day before. I can't remember what I had for dinner before. Don't take it to the heart. You don't have to prove anything. All she is saying is just words. But if she persists and keeps saying that you are starving yourself, get some food and eat it right in front of her face :)

at the end of the day only you know what and when you eat if you are worried keep a list write down times and get a check up with your doctor but if not dont let a little school nurse worry you cause that will cause you problems :-)

Bloody hell whats this nurse a cop? If you are eating normaly dont worry about but you must tell your Mom and Dad about this and let them deal with it they will be glad you told them and they will stick up for you and get her off your back. If you dont the nurse will probably write a letter home and they will be worried so tell them first. So they know what going on.

It's a fair question and it's her job to inquire. You convince her that you're not starving yourself by remembering what you've eaten and perhaps even keep a food journal.

Well, if you are of normal height/weight, she can't say much. I presume you eat your evening meal with your parents?
Get Mum or Dad to write to (or visit) this nurse.

Eating a healthy diet is good for you though and won't make you fat.
Exercise is good for you too remember.
