My friend and I are considering getting extensions. We were wondering about the different kinds available and which ones you prefered, if you have ever used any, that is. Which ones are the easiest to manage? What was your hair like after you removed them, and did the extensions fall out? Thanks so much!

Uhmm, guys. I'm not talking about my whole head...just some extensions that are different<<< from my natural hair color in the front of my head...and the same length as my hair.

I tried it once with human hair
ITs very expensive but looked natural, undetectable
My hair was not damaged when they were removed 6- 7 weeks later
Mine were sewn into my hair, so no they don't fall out

i think the one i have in right now is the swen- in one.. i dunno... but its the one were theybraid it in. but your hair s just fine after you take it out. (i've taken a couple of the out already..) and when you get them put in, they'll probably tell you that it'll last 2 months max (that's what i was told at least) but mine's been in for about 3 months now and it still looks natural. they'll get the color that matches your natural hair color so you wont have to worry about it looking fake or anything. and human hair is what you should get cuz that way you can play aroubd with your hair, like straighten it or curl it.
Oh and a little advice.... do a little research on which hair salon that is close to where you live is the cheepest before you go get it done. cuz many places cost a LOT but if you can find the right place, you can get it done for like $80. which is WAY better than $200.
oh and when you get extension, you should get 30 strands. that'll cover your whole head and make the flow natural. its the perfect number cuz its not too much and its not too less.
well good luck with your new look! ;)

Isn't that called, like, a weave where they are sewn into your head or hair and you can go swimming in it and everything? =) Yeah. Anyways, your hair is fine after you remove it. Just make sure to wash it after you do.
I like the ones which are sewn into your hair. Yeah. ^^ Easier. Good luck. =)

I use human hair, no they did not fall out, it depends how you want them in. If you just want to your hair you have to sew it in by braiding your natural hair first. If you wanted braids you could braid it in. My hair was normal after removal nothing happened. I prefer to use the pre separated and silky hair because they are easier to put in and easy to manage

Hi, i have had glued in(hair glue), sewn in(preferable) and clip on. I would say, as long as you take care of them(brushing, combing and keeping it clean)you can take it out and your hair should actually be in better condition. Out of the 3 though, i prefer clip in hair. It's so easy to put in and take out when i need to wash my hair. :) oh, and no, as long as the clips are secured on hair(they have tiny combs on them) then they won't fall out. Glue and Sewn wouldn't fall out, they are usually secured pretty good to the hair :)
