Life is a pass or fail IQ test honey. You just flunked, prego. Even if you are dumb enough to think you are ready for a child, you should be using protection , because the fact is you are wrong. No 16 year old is ready to have a child. You don't sound smart enough to know which end to put the diaper on, much less how to get through school and college so that you can provide for the childs future. If, by some stroke of sheer dumb luck you are not pregnant, start using protection now, and quit ditching school. My son, who is going to be president in 29 years, because I waited until I could provide him with a solid education and future before I started having unprotected sex, does not need the added problem of figuring out what to do to save your childs future after you ruined it by getting pregnant before you were ready!

You're most likely pregnant. Having unprotected sex will eventually result in a pregnancy. I would either go buy a home test at a pharmacy or grocery story and test or go to your doctor and have them do a pregnancy test for you.
If you're not pregnant, I would see your doctor and get on birth control ASAP.
If you are pregnant, remember that you do have options.
1) Abortion (terminating the pregnancy)
2) Adoption (giving the baby to a family who wants it after its born)
3) Keeping the baby and raising it yourself.
It's not easy but you can do it. You need to tell your parents if you are pregnant because you and the unborn baby will need to get prenatal care asap for the best interest of you and baby.
Hope this helps! And dont listen to everyone else who is being rude. Everyone makes mistakes. I was one of them. Everything will be okay.
always,
Crystal

first off. i'm not an expert. but here is my suggestion:
number 1- and here is my quick lecture. BIRTH CONTROL. ASAP. if you cannot afford condoms, then you should not be having sex. condoms are such a quick and easy solution . please- use them in the future or please don't have sex unless you want a child...
number 2- honestly, the stress you are probably putting yourself thinking you're pregnant can be worse that anything. if it's anything more than 2-3 weeks late, i would purchase a pregnancy test and use it. also- you are still young, and unless you've had your period for a while, you could still also not be regular which could be part of your problem! you're body is still changing, so it could be a number of things wrong right now. don't stress until you know. and if you can't wait that long- then go now and buy a pregnancy test. if it turns out you are pregnant, sit down with your family (very important) boyfriend and talk about plans. if he loves you enough to have sex with you, he should be willing to discuss a pregnancy with you. if you aren't pregnant, smile, and then go buy condoms. if he doesn't want to use him- he's not mature enough to be having sex. part of sex is the consequences. understand them and learn from things like this. for the sake that you need time to grow out of childhood yourself, i hope you are not pregnant. i'm not trying to lecture-- be as smart as you can next time. relax. it might be okay.

The whole thing is wrong - you are 16 and no matter how long you two have been dating, you are still having sex -irresponsible sex at that. And because of that, now you have to worry about being pregnant at that age. Go to the store and get a pregnancy test. When you have sex, it changes up your body, not to mention you're not fully developed yet, even though you might think you are. You need to go to have your parents take you to a doctor to discuss contraception or go to planned parenthood and at least be somewhat responsible for what you are doing. I don't mean to lecture you, but I'm 25 and have seen a ton of friends' lives get ruined or put on hold by making an adult decision when they weren't even ready yet.

Sounds to me like u r really scared. Being only 16 and thinking you might be pregnant. I think the other people who answered you in such an ugly manner should learn some compassion. I think you need to go to a church and talk to someone if you cannot talk to your mom. If you do get your period soon, I think, in the future, you should think about your actions before you wind up in trouble. I know sex is fun...but do you really want a baby right now? Please abstain from sex til you are married and more mature. Do you realize you could get a disease? Also, you probably aren't old enough to properly care for a baby. Please, sweetie, please stop having sex with him. Please think about your future and his.
If you do find out you are pregnant, have the baby, but then find a nice church or person who can teach you about God. God has been my strength and refuge for many years. I didn't know God when I was your age. Know I care and I will sure pray for you that u are not pregnant and will take my advice.
Love, Stephanie

You don't say how late your period is or if you are regular to start with. Fingers crossed it could just be the worry that is making you late, however if you are having unprotected intercourse then you can't rule out the possibility of pregnancy. If you are 2 weeks late or more i would suggest you take a pregnancy test, if it's negative then think yourself lucky! You are too young for this and start taking precautions regardless if your boyfriend wants to or not!! If you are then you have a lot of decisions to make. Speak to your parents if not a friend or relative. Good luck honey!

Well there could be a number of things wrong
1. You could just be under stress, which could be the reason you are late.
2. You could be pregnant but, I wouldn't worry to much just yet, just give it some time (about two or three weeks) and then if they still don't show up, go see a Dr and get a blood test done to fine out.

You could deffinately be pregnant.. at this point though the only way to tell is a blood test-- go see a doctor, at your age you might have to go the local free clinic if you dont want the parentals finding out -- At 16 though I do remeber a change in my cycle- you could just be growing up but you had to know that you would get pregnant eventually right, that is what happens....well, good luck sweetie.

theres a huge chance that you can be pregnant...so u should go buy a test at the store. but sometimes when a person gets really worried about being pregnant they start to feel like they are with the symptoms, that happened to me once. But then i bought a test and found out i wasnt and my period came a couple days later. So hopefully this will happen for you.
