I'm 5'7 1/2" and 12 years old. My dad's 6'2" and my mom's 5'6".
I had my period a year ago (if that makes a difference).
I really don't want to be taller than 5'8". How tall do you think I'll be?

You may hit 5'8 or 5'8 1/2", but you probably wont be too much taller. I know by the time I was 12 I was just about done too -- i'm 5'10! I feel ya on the height thing. But don't worry-- as you get older the boys finally start growing and you dont feel so tall anymore. :-D

well they say that you stop growing 2 years after your period but i grew 5 inches after getting my period so it really just depends on the person. And another thing it is okay to be tall. im 5'11 and i know it is hard but believe it or not in high school the guys really do get taller than you. one day i went to class and it seemed like all the guys magically got taller than me overnight and there are a lot of girls your height too. and plus we have some good advantages most guys like tall girls were better at sports we can gain weight and it wont be as noticable as if a short person gained weight. But you shouldnt get too much taller

im 5'7" 1/2 and im 13 though my da is 6'3" and my mom is 5'6" i got my period over a year ago and for about a year you keep growing heighth wise, i've stopped growing now and im almost 5' 8" but you gro for about a year after you hit puberty but you just grow a little tiny bit, some people not even an inch . dont sweat it you probably wont make it much past 5'8"

I stopped growing by the time I was 12. However, my younger sister and 2 brothers all kept growing until they were around 17 years old. I think it is different for everyone!

The average woman keeps growing till she's about 16. It really depends on your genetic make up though. Do you happen to know how tall you were at age 3? The reason I ask is because you reach exactly half your adult height at age 3. That should give you some sort of base to start from.

being a tall woman myself. I hated as a kid too but you should look into modeling runway models are between5'7 and 6 feet tall and then they wear heels so be proud of your height some women like my mother in law she 4'11 wish for a extra couple of inches

i got my period when i was about 11 and i stopped growing when i was 15 yrs old
im about 5'7
my dad is 5'9 and my mom is 5'6
my younger brother is a year younger than me (im 17) and when we were younger he was a bit shorter than i and now hes 6'9

You may get taller, but think about that positively, rather than negatively. I've always dated taller women, and a lot of guys are like me and find height to be attractive.

I like tall girls.
Your sex (I do not mean your breasts) keeps growing until about the 10th grade.
However, since you are like about 67 inches, I say you are almost done.
