What is simple way you'd know if you have scoliosis (without taking an x-ray or going to the doctor)? What are the symptoms of scoliosis? How much can u grow if you have scoliosis?

were in high school she is new at school and we talk once... i started the conversation saying its cold outside when she was about to go outside and get a snack out of the snack machine... and i stayed inside by myself and she comes back in and starts to talk to me... we talk about our school history and religion. She told me she lives with her grandmother and she goes to this big church... she told me she used to go to private school and she had to wear a dress and she didn't like it... so she now goes to the public school... she also said that our class feels like it's summer school... are conversation ended when are 10 min break was over and back to work... i was leaving early right when break was over... she told me she was leaving in 2 hours... anyways, she said she was a loser and she walk back to class and I told her no your not... and that was it. She kinda sounded serious... Does that mean she likes me? Or was just expecting an ego boost?

Ok, so on T-Mobile.com i found a prepaid cellphone for $50.00 that also comes with 60 free minutes of airtime. It's only available online, not in stores. I have a $70 dollars right now, but i would need a credit card to purchase it and give the money back then. When i told my dad, i started my sentence with:
"I was on Tmobile.com and i saw this really cheap prepaid phone, and..."
and then he just cuts me off with: "Don't need it. I mean, why would you need a cell phone? You don't have anybody to call, and you would be irresponsible."

I was going to explain him all the good things about having a cell phone, and how i need one to communicate with him and my mom, because we don't even have cell phones yet, and this is the 21st century. I don't know what he thinks is gonna happen if i get a cell phone, but he's just contradicting everything i say. First i say i want to be a singer, or a surgeon, and he's just like no no no, those jobs aren't good. HE'S SO UNFAIR!

Hey I just asked if it was wrong to want to keep the baby if I am pregnant.. I know it sounds bad yes I am 17 I work full time and I have my own apt. The guy I am with is older and I know that doesnt sound good either but I promise it isnt like that we have a great relationship and we work together. Im about to get my GED and Im thinking of online college courses. I dont know for sure if im pg Ive taken the test but so far negative. Its been a little less than a week since Ive missed my period but my stomach has been sore and I have a few other symptoms that make me wonder. I am on b/c and we do use condoms but I know nothing is 100 percent. If I am pg I def want to keep the baby. I wouldnt consider abortion and I could never give my baby away. Im very mature and responsible for my age and I THINK I can handle it and I know the father would financially support me. I have medical insurance as well. But Im still really scared.. any advice..?

I missed that whole month. I had sex on new years eve unprotected. That whole month i was scared. I'm in 6th grade. there is so much drama between the girls in my class. there's one clique, and then there are suck ups, and then there's me and some other people, like me. I go to school in a small public school where there isn't much change, and there aren't that many kids. The popular kids hate me because i didn't turn into an immediate suck up and becasue i don't follow their rules, therefore, the suck ups hate me. I'm just being my own person but that always gets me put down. We have to have all the girls meet with our closest teacher, Kathy, every single day. Yesterday, it was pick on Rachelle day. people are making up lies about me, and all i can do is defend myself and fight back, not with more lies but with the truth. I can tell that Kathy can see through all the fakers that are just coming up with half a**ed lies to tell about me. The girls still have me though, and i don't know what to do about it. I'm gonna write more in additional details.

As a parent who would you let your daughter spend the night with?

Girl A: Age 15. Wears a mini 80% of the time no matter what the weather is, with 4 inch heels, low cut or tube tops with no bra. Has no b/f. When she goes out she call her folks to check in every hour on the hour and is home by 10am sharp. Has a B+ to A average in school. Lives in a household that doesn't smoke or drink and she follows suit. Is not on the pill.

Girl B: Age 13 1/2. Dresses boyish, not sexy in the least. When she does wear girlie tops you can see she wears a bra. Has had b/f since she was 11, and had 5 in the last 2 1/2 years. Often does not get home until after 12 midnight and many times not until 2am, and her parents don't seem to care. Has drinking and smoking in the home. Even though you never seen her smoking or smelled it on her, she was sent home from school once for being drunk. Is often left on her own for many hours. Barely holding on to a C- average. Rumored to give other girls condoms.

im 16yrs old.. 3 months ago i was told i have depression..and im scared really scared.. i have many family problems {i was pregnant and i lost my baby. my older sister had an abortion she killd her baby, my mom used to hit me really bad wen i was little and my ex boyfriend used to menace me all the time} like u guys might notice is alot ot things.. i know im sick but i been doing something that is starting to worry me like eveytime i get really mad i cut my self on my arms or legs and today i took 10 pill of some medication they give me i did it cuz i was mad nd sad.. do ui think i need more profecional help? my parents want 2 send me with a phsycologysts.. should i tell all this to my parents and my doctor? am i going crazzy?

I am thinking about makeing a friend as a guy. My old male friends, before we moved, were quite nice and never asked me to do anything with them, and I felt easy around them.
For young teenage guys, if you have ever got the urdge to spit out something among the lines of"Would you do it with me?" and the girl said that she's sorry, and would rather wait for marriage, what would your reply be? As geeky as I am, I have been carefully studying a boy that lives a couple houses down from me, and I realy like his personality, so I guese I wanna study how to do it...

Go shopping in the mall? meet friends for lunch? Cycle on busy streets, cross busy roads alone?
I know I am being a bit overprotective of my daughter but I wondered what others let their pre-teens get up to without them! She is sensible, mature and I do trust her. She came home from a sleepover with a friend whose parents had dropped them at the mall to go shopping and to the cinema alone. It had never crossed my mind to let her do that before. Maybe I am holding on too tight? She cycles and walks alone or with friends at home freely (as long as I get an approximate return time) but we live in a tiny rural community.
I dread being one of those fussing overprotective mothers but want her to have a childhood too.
What do other 11 yo's get up to?
