I wouldn't hate my own child. I'd hate their father, but it would no reflection on the baby.

Thats a really hard question to answer. If it were me, I would hope I wouldnt get raped in the first place. I was and indeed pregnant, I dont think there is a good enough reason to hate the child. The child played no part in the actual rape. I mean I am not saying it wont be tough to look at the child sometimes beucase again, he/she was the product of a rape, but that is no reaspon to hate the child. I also dont think it is right to abort the child, the child has done nothing wrong. Adoption is another way, but remember it is still YOUR child You can hate the man, but not the child. I hope if this ever happend to you that you will not disown or hate the child.
Tough question but a good one. Best of luck!

I wouldn't go so far as to say that I would hate the child becasue hate is such a strong word. I, myself wouldn't be able to keep the child though because I feel it would remind me of being violated. I do know someone that had a child after being raped. The child, the mother and father all live in the same community. The child and father have a relationship as well as the child having a relationship with other members of the father's family. The mother never had anything to do with the father or his family.

Hate is a strong word. Usually when a person is raped they will be given medication that will keep them from conceiving. I think it is called the morning after pill. However some people argue that the child has already been conceived.
But hypothetically I would not hate my own child, I would however have to work on not hating the childs father and the circumstances in which the child was conceived. I would hate the fact that I would have to some day tell my child the way in which he or she was conceived, so I would definately be heading for counseling if that were to happen.

That depends on the person who was raped. Some choose to keep the pregnancy and give the infant up for adoption at birth. Some choose to gestate to term and keep the infant to raise. Some choose to have an abortion. Either choice is right for the person who makes the choice. If it were me I would abort...

Depending on how old I was, Personally it was my first child, I would probably give the baby up for adoption, because I think even now at 23, I wouldn't be able to handle answering questions about the baby's father, and another couple could love that baby and be able to provide 2 capable parents for him or her.

Believe it or not most women who give birth because of rape don't hate their children!
However if she is unwilling to care for the child, adoption is a viable alternative.

i know a grl who got raped and ended up pregnant...she did not want to rase a baby and have to tell it that its father was a rapict so she had an abortion. I do not particularly agree with abortion but i understand y she did it. I dont think any mother could hate her baby! its nature to love it

I would definitly have the baby. Once you see the little innocent face you can either decide to keep the baby, or put it up for adoption. Remember, there are plenty of loving families out there waiting for a baby to love.

I'd keep the baby of course. The baby didn't have anything to do with the rape and I couldn't bear to abort it or put it up for adoption.
