I cut school and was three hours late for curfew. My dad and mom gave me a choice.
Grounded for a month which means no tv no friends nothing. I get up in the morning have breakfast go to school and then come home and right to my room come out for dinner then back to my room. I can sit in there and read but no radio no phone nothing.
Or I can get a paddling in the family room and 2 hours in the corner and grounded for the weekend to the house.
Which one should I choose? I have until Saturday morning to decide.

I was sexually abused by my stepdad from age 6 thru 12 when they divorced. I have a 12 yr old son who gets mad & says im overprotective and treating him like a baby. I let any friends come visit & stay over, but i wont let him go to any sleepovers. I wanna know where he is every minute and with whom. I have trust issues i know. But i dont know how to cut the cord. I want to keep him safe. I dont want anything to happen to him like it did to me. Am i being over protective? If so, how do i let go a little & feel safe about it? Im not sure i can give in on this one...im so afraid for him & of what could happen & once it happens you cant turn back the clock & fix it.

When my friend lived with her mom, she kicked her out of her house and car all the time. Since she was 14 she's been sent to live with various other people. She is not even aloud to spend the night at her mother's house, nor is she exactly welcomed to call her mom. The only reason her mom is even keeping custody of her is so she can claim her on taxes. Now she is in Tennessee and her dad has said that she should go back to Colorado, but her mother doesn't want her to do so. Right now, there are three houses that are welcoming her to come and live with them. Her mother doesn't want her to do that however. So my question is what does she need to do to get back to Colorado and live where she wants?

My daughter is 10 and seems to think I'm made of money. She begs and pleads for all manner of electronic devices from ipods, cell phones, Sony Playstation 3, to Wii and all manner of toys and goodies. Just curious if all 10 year old children out there are coming to school with ipods, and cells and IMing each other. Am I just woefully out of touch with today's lifestyle or do I have some validity in keeping things simple and old-fashioned?

Would appreciate some words of experience, not just one-liners please!

a friend of mine wants to know how she can tell if she's pregnant without buying a test, after it has only been 2 weeks since she had somewhat of an intercourse session. She said he wasnt in for longer than a minute or two, and he didnt have any pre-ejaculation or ejaculation fluid, and she did not use a condom or any kind of contraceptive. ok so there is this guy that i have been friends with since like kindergarden. i recently confronted him about a story my friend told me. it goes kinda like this. my friends name is amanda and the guys name is robbie
it started that robbie triped down the steps goin to lunch

I have this friend, shes in the 8th grade and she likes to hang out with a really bad crowd. She claims we're best friends and all, but recently she let this older guy touch her inappropriately TWICE! Do you think I should let her go as a friend, Help her out, or I don't know what else. if u read my last questions about these girls who are just so mean to me u will understand why im so angry 2day, ok so today me my friend drake and my bf were walkin home from skool and those 3 girls came bac(to beat me up). my bf told them 2 leave me alone and he walked me home, so later i went out to go walk my dog and there they were holdin sticks, i ran, they caught me, they beat me with the sticks and now my left wrist is broken, they are always so mean to me and i want revenge BIG TIME, i mean scaring them for the rest of their school career!!! I am in 8th grade, and I have gone to catholic school my whole life. I really want to go to a new school next year to start out high school. I don't want to switch to a catholic school, but a public school. My parents support my decision either to stay or leave, and I really don't know what to do. I want to leave my school. I am just really scared of going to a public school! You could say that I make friends easily but my mom told me that public school kids are A LOT different than catholic school kids. I am worried that I won't make it! But then I think of staying at my school, either until 10th grade or until I finish high school, and I can't stay at my school now. I'm ready to meet other people. Is it really as bad as I think? I mean, I've met public school kids that transferred to my school, they aren't any different from us! I don't know?

my mom just made a stupid new rule that i can't stay up till 2 or 3am anymore. and she said i have to be in bed at 11. i can't even fall asleep at that time. im tired at that time but my body just can't fall asleep. i feel like a baby going to bed at 11, how can i convince her to go to bed later. like last nite i stayed up wacthing laguna beach for an hour, on my ipod video cause i couldn't fall asleep.wat would make her want to change it back to later.cause there is no way i can fall asleep at 11. im 13 almost 14 if that matters any.

I am throwing a pool party soon.(It's warm here for some reason) Anyway my friends are helping me plan it. He steps in(by the way he is my STEP DAD not my REAL DAD!!) Talking bout I can not play any songs with cursing or my faviorite song "sweet dreams" See my other question about that one. Or any "sexual" songs. I am not allowed to wear a two piece. I already got one he just don't know bout it. When we went shopping my mom showed it to me and he started talking about "how reviling it was". No slow dancing.
