we have to get merit and honor rolls, i fall under merit, and you have to get up once they call your name and stuff, and you have to stand up for the perfect attendance! i know i shouldnt be nervous but i really really am!! last year we had the same thing! i was nervous for that too!!!! what should i do????????? the whole gRADE is gonna be there i think!! im not even that sure how its suppose to go!!

I had a similar experience last year where we went to the gymnasium for an awards assembly where I got three awards for high GPA, and honor roll in geometry and business managment. Didn't get nervous or anything. Don't stess out about this too much, or it'll make you even more nervous. I had a lot of reports that I had to present to the class last year and got that nervousness sensation in me, but it finally stopped when I felt confident about speaking to the class.

I have found one of the hardest things to do is stand in front of a crowd. I remember a health quiz asking what people feared most? Standing before a crowd to speak was one of the top 10 answers. This is what is called stage fright.
Just about all major public speakers or entertainers have it in some form or degree. It takes practice over and over to conquer the major fear but fear is what makes you more aware to do a good job when you have to stand and speak.
