here are somethings that help me when I have laying on my back it hurts so much cramps.
1)tylenol. actualy advil is best and liquid gel caps work faster.
2) if you have a heat pad or warm water bottle place it on your lower adomen or back. that helps and it gives you continuos warmth, sorta like a bath.
3)drink water. at least 16 oz every 1-2 hours. may sound crazy but it helps. also eat some crackers or very simple food.
4) this helps prevent big cramps. work out for at least 4-5 hours a week, to the point were you break a sweat at least. while you are working out you are also working those muscles that are cramping when you get your period, and your cramps are worse, and your period is more regular.
I pray that your cramps feel better.
God bless you

Take some aspirin. Tylenol, advil, whatever floats your boat.
I also have horrible cramps and what I find works best is to stretch. Nice and slowly, just stretch. It'll hurt for a bit, but then you'll relax and feel better. Also, it's nice to go for a walk because then you're upright and not hunching over. Or, if it's REALLY bad, all you can do is sit in bed and have some chicken noodle soup. =[
Hope you feel better. <3

hmm ive never heard of bananas helping, but anyway, what isthe cause of the pain? if it is menstrual cramps, try something warm on your stomach and/or lower back, also take some sort of pain killer recommended for that (sorry i dont know what they mgiht be called in your country) when i have cramps i lie down like curled up with my knees on my stomach but facing down.

According to the book "What's Happening to my Body",
1. pain reliever like midol
2. warm bath
3. slow and gentle masturbation in the tub.
The book was what my wife and I gave our daughters as the door opener to "the talk". It's a really good and frank piece of education for girls (and boys).

Go to your doctor. They have medicine that can prescribe to you that should help. Or you might just want to get on birth control. I had horrible cramps as well and the only thing that helped was birth control.

What are the cramps from?
I am assuming menstrual cramps? Try a heating pad, on a low setting.
