My 13 week old has recently started waking every hour at night not necesseraly for feeding but she is just unsettled. A few weeks ago I thought she was finally setting into a routine and only woke three times between 8pm and 7am for feeding. She never used to cry and just feed with no fuss and went straight back to sleep. Now she cries and fusses each time she wakes every hour and we have to rock her back to sleep. I was thinking maybe she is not satisfied with milk (she takes 3-4 oz every 3 hours at night) and maybe I could start her on baby rice in her night bottle. Can anyone offer any advice?

This scares me. Now I want to move away from my neighbors in case one of my children is heard screaming because she is told no. I don't want to go to the grocery store with my children in fear that a bruise on my daughter's leg gets reported. It scares me that I am the one who was pregnant with my children. I'm the one who has sacfificed for my children. I am the one who gave birth to my children. Yet CPS can come in at any time because someone who has never had children decided to put their nose where it didn't belong. My brother in law has been trying to get his children back from foster care for a year and a half. His wife was murdered and he was accussed. DNA was found on her that wasn't his so he was acquitted. Yet he still has to fight to get his children back? A good friend of mine had her two children taken away when her boyfriend's brother decided he didn't like the way her kids behaved. Because of this man she wasn't even allowed to be with her children for Christmas.

I know this sounds nuts but since I delivered my baby Dec. 22nd, I have had a weird sensation running through my fingernails. It feels like I have electrods attached to each nail and an electric current is running through them. I experience this several times a day. I have never felt anything like this before and was wondering if anyone else had experienced this. By the way, I'm not taking any sort of medication so that can't be the cause of this.

I dont know what is going on with my cycles. I had a miscarrage 3 months ago, I had one normal period after that. Now I am 3 weeks late, I had a negative urine test and today got a negative blood test. I still have not gotten my period. I have not been stressed out; I am now because I am not getting my period. I know I ovulated because I had all the usual signs like cervical fluid and temperature increase. It is just weird why I have such a late period. I havent experienced this since I was alot younger atleast over 15 years ago.

What the heck is going on here??

A friend of mine is writing a story, and I was writing a certain characters part in, and the character is supposed to have 5 brothers. She asked me to come up with their names, since I was writing the section where they'd be introduced, but I'm stuck.

The character she gave me is named Rebecca Lizette, and her oldest brother is Harrison.

I like the names Gage, Liam, Seamus, and Morgan, but I'm worried that Liam, Seamus and Morgan are too different, too Irish next to the very English Gage, Harrison, and Rebecca.

What do you think?

i've been on it since november 13th...and i've had a nonstop period since then...its more like spotting though....my stomach is really hard at the bottom...and my boobs are swelling up so big...i think i might have gotten pregnant on it....but i've read in some things that if you got pregnant on the shot theres so much stuff in the shot that it wont produce enough of the pregnancy hormone for the test...i've already taken a test and it was negative.....is that true?

hi i had to have my first son by emergency cesearian due to the fact that the cord was around his neck and he was very distressed so they had to get him out with my second the doctor was worried about me having a vaginal delivery so another c-section.im preg with twins at the moment and they are going to be born in the next 2 months by c-section.my question is has anyone had more than 2 c-sections and how did there body cope with it and was it safe to have more than 2 children by cesearian(not that i want anymore after the twins)

My sister in-law has a size F cup size and she is unable to use a regular breast pump. We tried for an hour yesterday and we cannot seem to get the pump to form a seal around her breast because it is too big to fit into the funnel at all.

Do you know of any special breast pumps for really large breasts?

I had a good friend from out of State call me tonight and told me a story of her and husband out at dinner earlier this evening. Another couple there in the restaurant had a 3 mo old that choked on a small piece of food...the child was fine, but the parent's did not know CPR or the Heimlich Manuever to dislodge the piece of food.
It raises the question of whether parent's when in the hospital or whatever place they have their children should be taught these lifesaving procedures before they leave with their infants?
Personally, I feel the answer is yes. What would have happened to this baby tonight if that had happened in their home? It would have taken critical time for EMS services to show up and could have been the difference between life and death or serious injury to the brain due to lack of oxygen if the parent's hadn't been able to get it dislodged.

You always hear about how dads thought witnessing their child's birth was wonderful and beautiful and a miracle of life. Are there any dads here who will admit to thinking it was gross? If so, did it change your sexual feelings toward your wife?

I ask this because I was watching a childbirth on YouTube, a recording done for a teaching hospital, and I have to say it was the most disgusting thing I've ever seen! Made me glad I'm almost too old to have babies, though I'm sure I'd love the baby itself.
