Penis size is irrelevant. Sperm can make their way upstream from quite a distance. Sperm count, however, is a completely different issue and may be a problem. Try using an ovulation test for a couple of months. When I was trying to get pregnant that worked well. If you haven't been able to get pregnant after trying for a year, however, you both need to see a doctor. If you and your husband are over thirty, you probably shouldn't wait a year. Go now.

Are you serious? First of all a penis does not need to "reach" where the sperm is made (testicles) there are already veins going to the penis, have you ever thought you may be infertile? he may have a low sperm count? how old are you two? are you in your 30's? 40's? if so you should see a doctor after 6 months. If you are in your 20's you need to wait for about 8-12 months. Are you having sex when you are ovulating? or just blindly going at it. Don't havesex everyday as it WILL lower his sperm count once every other day or every third day will suffice. But try to find out when you are ovulating it will help alot.

I'm pretty sure the sperm are getting where they need to go and 5 months is not a long time. You need to make sure you are TTC when you are about to ovulate in order to get pregnant.

"Where it needs to go?" His penis would have to bust through the cervix, into the utereus and up into the fellopian tube. Chancer are his isn't that long...even when rigid. :)
On another note, keep trying. It took my brother and sister in law about 3 years. Maybe your body just isn't ready. Pray about it. And see a doctor.

No... You can get pregnant just from the penis touching the outside of your vagina. It doesn't even need to enter it.. His seimen just needs to come into contact with your fluids. I would go and see your doc. But don't worry yet, remember it takes some couples a year... Doesn't mean they are infertile.

Well honey first of all sperm travels upward so therefore your husband penis doesn't have to be able to reach.
