I've watched my wife give birth vaginally and it was fascinating. I didn't find that it changed my sexual feelings. On the other hand, lactation did, I never did get used to her leaking milk.
I was also there for my wife's C-section. In this procedure you have a curtain so you can only see what the surgeon wants you to see. Trust me, if your Ob-Gyn asks if you want to see your wife's uterus, the answer is "no thank you, I just ate."

Most childbirths are VERY over whelming. I, personally have never been present and seen an actual birth but have seen video and taught emergency first aid. Until I seen the videos, I had NO IDEA what a mother went through giving birth!!! I had always thought that when the time came the baby would just be born. I Didn't know about all the screams, blood, water, other messes and how tired the mother would become. I had always heard that a woman was as close to death as she would ever be when she gave birth. I now can see why. May God Bless All Mothers!! Good luck. Pops

Ok, I didn't have a vaginal birth- tried 19hrs going into it... but my baby just wouldn't descend down. anyways, I asked my husband about this, and he said No, it wouldn't gross him out- he saw lot's of blood at the time I was in labor, so yes, that scared him seeing all this blood coming from me because he was worried for me. I personally felt as if I were close to death towards the end- it was extremely painful when my epidural wore off. I ended up having a c-section- being put under, so he didn't even see that... and honestly, that's all he wanted was to see his baby born...both of us were sad we didn't get to see it, and especially since we couldn't hold our son right away.
At the time of labor- you aren't thinking sexually at all! lol You just want to see your precious baby! but the fact you have to wait until you can have sex again, that leads up to lot's of anticipation, and yes it was amazing once we finally did! lol So no, my husband's sexual feelings haven't changed towards me he said. I think watching someone else's baby being born is completely different to the actual experience - because I too have seen some gross deliveries... but, to that person, it's such a blessing- and you'd only know if it happened to you being in that situation. Yes, you'd love that baby with all your heart... I can't begin to describe how I felt when I first met my son! I cried in happiness! :)

My husband loved witnessing the baby coming out but the after birth really grossed him out! Plus, he could not believe how much the female private area stretched so much!!! My husband was proud of me for all the pain I endured and that made us closer!!! Our sex life is better now than before we had kids!!!

I just asked my friend who is the mother of a 2 month old the SAME question. Her answer was this, he was grossed out by both deliveries. However he was bugging her for sex the moment the Dr approved it. So it didn't seem to bother him in the long run. She thinks guys are way to horny to give up sex just because they were grossed out for a few hours or so.

My husband said that it in no way grossed him out. It was an eyeopener to see what women have to go through in birth. He also says it was amazing miracle to see our son born and he cried the whole time.
As for the sexual feelings, he said h*ll no they didn't change that is why he knocked me up again.

My husband will get lightheaded if he pops a zit and sees blood. I was a nervous wreck when I went in to have my first baby. He was determined (thankfully) that he was going to watch the whole thing from the doctor's point of view. When I had my c-section he even watched as they cut me open. He didn't even flinch. I was really proud of him.

My husband never said anything like that. He has always said it was cool....lol. The afterbirth was a totally different story. He looked like he was going to puke when it came to the afterbirth.
