Yes I do. It is woman's choice. Not gods! It's not gods body now is it? There is no way I could have had a baby at 17. I was partying and not really taking care of myself. And there was no way I could let a baby grow inside of me for nine months and then just give it away! I'm glad I made the decision I did. Now I have a beautiful 15 month old baby. And I've grown up and give this baby the life he deserves. For all the people that say it's wrong to have an abortion stop being so selfish. Its no better to bring up a baby in a world that cant take care of it. And most kids that are given away at birth grow up being miserable about who they are and why they were given away. Or end up in foster homes. Stop telling people whats right or wrong based on what a book says! Everyones situations are different. There is not one answer for everyone.

I do not support abortion, but I support the right to choose. Before it was legal, many women died from "coat hanger" abortions and other horrible attempts. There were illegal "doctors" that would perform the service for you for a large sum of money. Often, terrible things happened in those so - called "doctor's" offices. Sometimes, the abortion failed and the baby was born malformed or with physical problems. It wasn't just "bad girls" wanting abortions, but women who had been raped and girls carrying their father's, or brother's child.

I wish abortions didn't happen, but they have and they do. I would rather see a safe medical procedure than what could happen. This is not a third world country, and not everyone shares the same morals. We have to respect other peoples beliefs and rights.

It's funny, I hardly ever come across an adamant pro lifer who has adopted an inner city, crack or heroin addicted child. Maybe that seems harsh, I'm sure, but I think on this issue we must be realistic and logical.

As long as it's the first trimester, I'm a supporter of the right to choose.

I would not have an abortion but I feel like I should not speak for someone else's decision! I do not agree that abortion should be used as birth control but at the same time, I do not think a rape victim should have to have a baby because some one else thinks it's wrong!!! And, what if the mother's life is in danger because of the fetus!! Abortion is considered a solution but a solution that I hope that I never have to make!!!

No, I don't support abortion. I do however support a person's right to choose.

I don't think anyone in their right mind would suggest and abortion or support the idea of abortion.

I think the lack of (substantial scientific) facts as to when life begins is reason enough to support the freedom of choice in this matter. If we knew when life did begin--say at conception--then obviously it would be a different story.

Yes i support abortion, for anyone but myself.I don't choose it for me because i doubt i could live with the guilt, but having said that if i was raped by a stranger, found my baby to have abnormalities beyond medical help or the pregnancy could kill myself or the baby due to illness or something i would get an abortion.Women have the right to choose if they do or do not want to keep there child for a full term preganacy no one has the right to make that decision for them or make them feel low for making that choice.

Abortion is murder - if you tell yourself any differently you are just lying to yourself

I do not believe abortion is OK under ANY circumstances

If it is going to kill the mother .... that was the choice she made when she created that life in the first place - too bad

If the baby is sick....there are people who want babies badly enough to want even a sick/retarded/deformed baby

If the baby is going to die.....how many times have we heard of "miracle" babies that weren't supposed to live - it is not your place to decide if the baby should die

Rape?....two wrongs do NOT make a right - just because someone raped you doesn't mean you should do something even worse than the rape to the baby it created

Have you ever wondered if maybe one of the already "aborted"/"murdered" babies in this world may have been the one that would have found the cure to AIDS/ cancer

as far as the "back alley"or"coat hanger" abortion argument - if some woman dies while murdering her completely innocent baby - too bad - she got exactly what she deserved - same as someone who dies while trying to rob/murder anywhere else in the world I would feel no pity if they died while committing this crime

As far as the arguement for adopting - I am trying to adopt now and my mother is a foster parent (and a very good one!)

I am Pro Choice. I believe that every woman has a right to her choice in that case.. I don't support it as a form of birth control, but I think there are a lot of reasons out there that I would support, ie: rape, ect. Also I think it might be worse to bring an unwanted child into the world and the child be at risk for neglect/abuse..
I think its a very personal choice and I wouldnt wish it on any woman to have to go through a desision like that.

If you were acting stupid then no I don't believe that abortions are good, if the baby is not wanted than give it up for adoption. However if the pregnancy is the product of rape, than I believe that abortions are OK.

Only in a case where the life of the mother is at risk. I don't think that we should kill a fetus because we are too lazy or stupid to use protection. As to the idea that it's a womans body and she can do what she wants with it, If that is true then why is prostitution illegal? Why is it illegal for her to snort cocaine? The fact is that the various governments tell us all the time what we can and can't do with our bodies. It is only with abortion that she all of a sudden can do anything with her body that she wants.
