Pregnancy can happen when ejaculate or pre-ejaculate gets in the vagina or on the vulva. Usually, this happens from unprotected vaginal intercourse. It may also happen if partners have another kind of sex play that puts ejaculate or pre-ejaculate in contact with the vagina or vulva — for example, if partners have ejaculate or pre-ejaculate on their hands and they touch the vagina or vulva. Keeping ejaculate and pre-ejaculate away from the vagina and vulva will prevent pregnancy.

No. It's not a myth. Just as long as there is at least one live sperm cell in it (usually left over from previously ejaculated semen), that is enough to get you pregnant. It is not very common, but it is very possible.
There are even cases where women have been pregnant without actually having sex. Just as long as the precum/semen touches the opening of the vagina, if it makes it way up, that too can make you pregnant.
Be safe!!

Absolutely not a myth you can get pregnant by preejaculate. I am pregnant and he did not ejaculate. Pre contains sperm and it only takes one. All you have to do is ask all those women that men did not ejaculate in who are pregnant. *LOL* The one time we did not finish I got pregnant by my hubby. Go figure. I am happy since we have been trying for six years. But the one time we did not finish is the one time I am pregnant. I know when exactly I got pregnant.
Maybe you should see another doctor for a second opinion. I tell you it happens.

Pre ejaculation actually has more sperm then the finale! Many women, specially teens, have become pregnant even without intercourse by dry humping. All it takes is sperm going into the vaginal fluids, then it's up to them to race all the way up!

There is sperm in precum, but it is in smaller amounts than in ejaculate when measured per part. Keep in mind even in smaller amounts it only takes one.
