Pregnancy & Parenting - 26 November 2006

So... I'm having difficulty trying to figure out the following:
1. Water Breaking vs. Peeing
2. Light Green Discharge looks likes cottage cheese (eww, i know... but if you've had this - what is it?)
3. Contractions

I'm week 38! Yay! Can't wait to see my little man... but I've been wondering...

1. I wake up all the time and have to pee or if I accidentally let some out... when I go to use the bathroom - I can't? Is this water breaking / leaking out or whats going on...

2. I have a light green discharge that has been around off and on kind of for about a week now. It doesn't smell. It looks like cottage cheese kind of, just trying to figure out what this is since my practioner wasn't open this week for Thanksgiving... I also have been doing the whole "stringy mucous" but it hasn't had any bloody show.

3. I've never experienced "period cramps" for some reason, i've just always had my period and thats it- it comes, no pains at all, it goes... so Contracions feel like???????

The Doctor on call at the hospital said I could not give him anything until he is 6 months to 12 months old. He said that I could give him 1 teaspoon and a half of infant tylenol (0.8ml+0.4ml)but that is for pain not a cough and congestion. What do can I do, I dont want to give him too much medicine but I dont want him to suffer either. He is about 16 lbs

We use enfamil A.R..Dr Brown's bottles and started Zantac this week twice a day. He still spits up (throws up) from end of one bottle to the beginning of the next. ALOT. He is growing,but I don't want him hurting. He has cried much more than my other 2 children ever did and I can see the scared look in his facewhen he chokes sometimes. I really need help.

She really hates it. I bought the softest, littlest toothbrush I could find. I wont use my fingers (she'll bite me). But she likes the flavor of the toothpaste (flouride free).

Any sugestions on how to make it fun or at least easier?

Me and my fiance are ttc. it has only been 3 months so i know there is no reason to be concerned yet it just gets frustrating. i have been tracking ovulation, laying with my butt elevated after, and having sex every other day. Is there anything else that I can do to help improve our chances? or is it best just to leave things alone and just let it happen. i know that everything is ok with him because he already has a kid but i dont know with me and i know its too soon to get checked or even worry about that yet. Just wondering if there is anything else i can do to help? also i am in my 20's so its not my age. thank you for your time

My sister in law and brother are divorced, and because her mother went away for three months, I took her into my home. She goes to bed at 5 AM, chatting with her friends in the Internet. She does not sits next to me in the car, but in the back sit. Last week she went with a girl next door to the library at 5PM and didn't show at my home until 11 PM I had to call the police. When the police got here she told them she wants to go to a children's shelter, because her mother beats her up. She ran my brother's cell phone to 2000 minutes, he disconnected her phone and when was told the reason why she said; I did not asked to have a phone. 'She doesn't clean after herself, leaving everything for me to clean up. Here are my question, does she sounds like in drugs? She comes to the living room and changes the TV without askign if anyone else is watching, etc. She will be at my home for another 2 weeks, any ideas as to what to do, or why she behaves like this? I am 20wks 1 day pregnant. I felt the first flutters of baby moving at 15/16wks. Now i feel actual movements (not just flutters) but with no real consistency. Generally it is when i'm lying in bed reading a story to baby but not always.

At what stage (i know everyone is different but an approximate is fine) will i feel baby move a few times a day, everyday?

i am 20 weeks along and i have been feeling this wierd movement in my ribs all day long. i have had 2 other children and i know that this happens but i am also pretty sure my uterus is not up that high at 20 weeks. It feels just like a baby moving, but its under my rib cage. can anyone help me with this one.

my period is real late but i keep having sharp pains in my back and it fells like i have cramps i have some pregnancy syptoms such as fatigue,i eat more and i find my self using the bathroom more often i also fell pressure below near my hips. Personally, I believe using the restroom every now and then will work wonders. The Supernanny plots are crappy new stuff that is all fake and not true. REASONING WITH YOUR CHILDREN??? Come on now, your the parent and as parents I know said around me... I'd rather punch you before some on out in those streets get to ya. Also, sometimes, grounding doesnt work. Really, do you think kids are going to oblige to that. My nephew gets in stores and throws stuff off shelves and go's crazy literally. My mother posps his hands and he cries rather loud and that's it. i feel that all children need spankings every now and then. i think of it as a form of love. your thoughts?
