I am pregnant and have been sneezing a lot. I do not feel like I have a cold coming on. I am only 6 weeks pregnant, would this cause me to sneeze or am I getting some kind of virus?

I have had 4 children in 6 years...I am struggling with adjusting to all of the changes...any tips on how to get back into feeling more in control and less chaotic? Virtually every aspect is chaos...from the laundry, to finding quality time to spend, to my emotions...it seems my priorities are out of whack, meaning that EVERYTHING becomes a priority and I don't know what to tackle first

How could someone let there young children alone outside with no supervision????? A 2 yr old someone my son's age playing outside with a older, but still young brother? Is the world going crazy? I see 5 yr olds running around in my neighborhood way down the street from their house, they were just 4! Who does that and feels okay about it? No matter what age my son is at, I will not feel okay with him at 5 going to somebody's house that I don't know and him going inside?! Why, these children don't have young parents, so it's not like they are young and careless, they are just stupid! Do people around your area do the same thing?

I would like to know peoples' opinions on this. Do you think that TV really influences a child's violent behavior, or does it come down to the parenting of the child? I believe that yes we should monitor what our children are watching (especially young children, because certain shows are scary). But there are times that we cannot always control what they see, all we can do is teach them fiction from non-fiction and right from wrong. Which is why that I believe TV may play a factor with violent children, but I also think that that problem COULD and SHOULD have been corrected early by the parents. Why is media blamed so much for child violence? My view is that just because a child sees someone get shot on TV doesn't mean they will shoot someone. ESPECIALLY when the parents have taught him that violence on TV is where it belongs. Only on TV, not in reality! What do u think???

This is a stupid question but we need help! Mine and my friends favorite band (Jonas Brother) is coming to town. And we really want to go cause its free. We asked her mom, because my mom took us to go meet Mitchel Musso. Her mom said no because my friend has to do this thing in the city for her church. Which cost $10 and has not been paid to go yet on the same day. So now we are making a list or reasons why we should be able to go. We need your help think of things. Do you know anything we can add to the list or do to get her to take us?

Does anyone know how to become foster parents in South Carolina? We have befriended a 14 year old girl that started out being friends with my daughter. She was in foster care for 1 1/2 years and just came back to her mom this past August. The reason they were taken was the abuse from the stepfather. Their mother could have had them back in 45 days, but it took her over a year to leave him. She has been told that if she had any contact with him,her kids could be taken for good. I recently found out that she has been seeing her ex-husband. She has even gotten the 14 year old to call him,so no one would know what was going on. Anyway I don't want this girl to have to go strangers ,so I want to become a foster parent before she is taken away.

I have a 2 week old who doesn't like his bassinet. During the day he usually nurses, then falls asleep and I usually put him in his bouncy seat to seat because he gets a good nap there. At night time I want him in is bed next to mine but he doesn't seem to like it. I let my other 2 cry themselves asleep but they didn't need to do this until they were older and I didn't feel bad about them crying themselves to sleep. Do you think I should let my 2 week old cry it out and fall asleep?

I just found out that I am pregnant again. I was so excited because I was not feeling sick at all and with the last 2 I was so sick! Well I am about 6 weeks and the nausea is setting in. I dont even want to get out of bed in the morning. The problem is I have 2 other boys (3yrs old and 15 months) and Its so hard to have energy for them, and I feel awful all the time! I dont know how I can go through another pregnancy being so incredibly sick. I could not find anything that helped when I was so sick last time. My doctor put me on an anti nausea med but it made me so tired I could not even think. Any suggestions would be great. I heard potato chips are good?? Did this help anyone? Thanks!

i'm turning 16 soon and was wondering if its wierd that i haven't had a boyfriend before. i have never bothered to flirt with guys because i figure i don't want to be with someone that only likes me because i act around him. i'm friends with guys but have only ever been able to imagine myself with one specific guy but i battle to talk to this guy because i don't want to make a fool of myself. i wouldn't even go out with him right now if he asked because i just don't want to do anything stupid that could ruin my rep. and i'm kinda scared...... my friends think my expectations are high

..if it has been proven that those children have been shown to suffer many social disorders, psycological issues, and even discrimination later in life moreso than those with "socially acceptable" names?

I can understand the desire to give a child their own sense of identity, to make them stand out from the rest, I really do. But honestly, it should be the childs decision to stand out, not something they inherit at birth. A name can be so essential on a subconscience level in a childs growth.

Am I making any sense? I see so many people on here that ask for opinions on certain names, and I sometimes shake my head knowing that the child will most likely not only have a rough childhood, but adulthood as well. I know this isn't always the case; But are you, as caring and loving parent, willing to take that chance? What are your opinions?

My 4 1/2 month old is teething, we can see the white just under the gums, and he hates it.. He's not really a cryer, or screamer but the past couple of days he's thrown some fierce crying fits.. and it just breaks my heart. Any tips on calming him, we've tried to give him something cold to chew on but he doesn't really like it, he just seems to hurt so bad that nothing helps, we gave him some infant tylenol.. What else can we do??

It seems to me that there are so many more useful and interesting things they could be doing instead of spending four hours a day watching tv. And yes, I know, some tv shows are educational, but do you really think its worth it?

My daughter has a bully at school. This little girl is constantly picking on my daughter. She is telling her she's fat and she has ugly clothes. In a note passed around the class this little girl called my daughter 'a fat a$$ B*tch'. When my husband took our daughter to school he met this little girl. He said she was very fat.Everyday my daughter comes home and complains about what the girl said. We recently had her hair cut and the main thing she was worried about was if she would be made fun of. I have sent a note to her teacher telling him about the problem and he never responded. When he does catch this girl being mean he only makes her walk around the playground. I feel helpless.I want to protect her,but there again I want her to stand up for herself. The teacher is being of no help. This is my oldest daughter and I'm not sure how to deal with bullies.
