I think it's great! Not only has he found an activity that has captivated his attention, but it is healthy! So many toddlers unfortunately get captivated by SpongeBob...kudos to you! Just make sure you keep him well hydrated!

My 3 year old loves to exercise, especially Tae Bo also. She'll do the warm up, the punches and kicks. I think its hilarious, well until she starts Tae Bo-ing her little 2 year old sister. I wouldn't worry about it, just keep some water or juice near by. If you feel worried, give the nurse a call at his pedi's office and ask; alternatively, maybe you can put the hour one up and leave the 15 minute or the 8 minute one out.

I read an article saying that children don't exercise enough, like if a child is frolicking at disneyworld going on all the rides, it's still not enough exercise. Your child will stop exercising once he is tired, your son won't be the fat kid, because he learns at an early age, that exercising is fun and he is getting the most out of it. A child would have to take like 3,472 steps a day to maintain a healthy lifestyle. So, keep on bringing those videos out, they help.

I think there is nothing wrong with it. Sounds like he is having a good time. As long as he is doing other stuff also like going outside and playing and nornal other 2 year old things, I wouldn't worry about it at all. I might get him some exercise tapes like Disney things and such for fun, but heck I would encourage it.

When we were small we could run jump for hours. Nowadays you cant leave your kids outside alone. So I think its ok, he getting the movements he needs. make sure he has fresh air and drinks alot.
You could think of sending him to karate or something, looks like he could really enjoy it.
