Pregnancy & Parenting - 8 October 2006

We went to the hospital to have her checked out and no positive test on the leaking but she is a "fingertip" dialated i really dont know how much that is but at least it has started and i was just wondering what are the next stages and what i need to expect!! she is 38 weeks

I know this sounds stupid but I went to the doctor last week for his check up and they told me I could start solids... At first I was excited... A new thing he'll be able to do!!! But then I started reading the info i got from them on solids, how to start them how much when to start new ones... I just got overwhelmed and very sad. I don't want him to eat something other then my milk... I'm actually jelous of that little box of cereal... Is this normal? did anyone else go through this?

Breast feeding your child. i mean why only the child why not your husband or a bf? i am not saying that theres no milk for us men out there, but wouldnt it be more passionate if u do breast feed your hubby? lol specially at bang bang time.

we have been talkin about it. but he says its different for guys then it is for girls. Does that mean it doesnt hurt them? How bad does it hurt for girls. Does it really help if u use tampons? And how bad will i bleed..please help me understand this.. :-/

I really want to become pregnant, but I hav'nt had my period in about 3 months -.-, I think it might be because I'm vegan, and they can have irregular periods so I've been told. But me and my husband really want a baby girl. We don't have inshurance, so go'n to a doctor is out of the question for now. Also, I can't seem to get confertible having sex w/him. I feel like I'm not a good wife because I hate it so bad, but it never seems to feel better like I was told I should. I think I make him feel like I'm not happy w/him, but I luv him so much, its jus... I wish I could go ahead and get pregnant w/o that.

m friend has a 4 month old whom i was babysiting...she told me not to give the kid water and that the doctor told her not to...she said the never give babies water until they are 1...is this true, i dont get why? what about kidney failure??

My name is Annette. I live in Edmonton. I am divorced. I have 4 children and 3 of them are not my ex husbands. I lied to him and said they were. I don't know how to deal the with guilt I feel. If he found out he would be devastated. I had one abortion because the guy I slept with was a different race than my husband. I don't know how to deal with that either.

My period is not due till 17 Oct. I usually get tender breasts 5 days prior to my period. This month however, I started having tender breasts 10 days prior to 17th, from the 7th. I ovulated 3rd or 4th this month. Could I b e pregnant?

Do you know what I can do for my six week old when it comes to putting him in the car seat? From the second I put him in it until the time we arrive to our destination he's crying like someone is killing him. I feel so bad for him..
While I see other babies completley content in their car seats, mine despises it.

I have people tell me that you don't start showing until around 6 months. I am not skinny but not overweight either. I am just wondering if anyone else out there started showing early or does this mean that i am going to put on a lot of weight during the pregnancy.
