I am 5 weeks pregnant and i always have bad stomach aches is this normal?

It's normal. During early pregnancy you might experience times when foods you used to like don't appeal to you any more. Or certain foods irritate your stomach more (like V8 or tomato juice). Modify your diet temporarily to eliminate the foods that cause you problems, but supplement with other healthy foods in the meantime. You should also take pre-natal vitamins (Materna) that contain at least 0.6 mg of folic acid.

It is normal to have stomach cramps that feel like menstrual cramps. It is not normal however to have extreme pain that is accompanied by bleeding or spotting. Most women have cramping the entire time they are pregnant. It is the tendons and uterus stretching, it is normal. If you are having unbearable pain then see your doctor. If it is accompanied by bleeding see a doctor immediately. Good Luck.
