My period is not due till 17 Oct. I usually get tender breasts 5 days prior to my period. This month however, I started having tender breasts 10 days prior to 17th, from the 7th. I ovulated 3rd or 4th this month. Could I b e pregnant?

Looking back, the first sign that I was pregnant was sore breasts. I didn't know I was pregnant at the time, but I remember thinking, Why are my boobs hurting now? But of course it doesn't mean you are pregnant.
Try this web site- http://www.pregnancy.org. Click on pregnancy calendar. Enter your last period and it will show you a calendar. If you remember the actual date you had sex, it shows the main day that you probably conceived.

There is a possibility you are pregnant, but it could also be extra stressin your life? Sometimes periods seem to be a little irregular when added stress occurs in life. Also, you may be freightened about this which causes you to believe you're pregnant. Wait until the 17th, then take a test. You can even buy them at the dollar store. If it's negative, take another one. Another negative reading and still no period- Go to the doctor and get a blood test and checked out. I wish you the best of luck.

Are your periods usually regular? It's hard to wait but you just may have to until you have (or don't have!) your period.
