Pregnancy & Parenting - 2 September 2006

I still don't know if I'm having a boy or girl. I find it extremely difficult to find girl names that I like? I've thought about unique names like Scarlet and Alexis, but I'm still unsure. Can anyone help me?

i have asked this as when i visit my baby who at 6wks early was 5lbs,3ozs and doing brill with no health wories ,after i,ve done cares(washing and feeding),i,m only allow to hold baby 4 about a hr then get told to put im back in cot,they do tube feed then bottle feed even though babys 16dys old,healthy,in a cot & no monitors,personally i don,t think they are encouaging im,is the normal thing that happens or am i just being too impatience

I dont drive yet and my mom is 35 minutes away her and my cousin are going shopping witch is 2 miles from them i really want to go but my only driving sorce just came home from work and is tired what can i do?

I have two teen age girls and younger boys. I need to find a better way of dealing with them. You can't talk to teens, they don't typically open up. I provide oportunity and they don't take advantage of the oportunity. I am at aloss. The techniques I have been using are working, but not well enough.
Any and all suggestions are welcome, particularly from teen age girls and parents of them.

i'm 6 weeks pregnant and about ever 2nd or 3rd time i use the bathroom i notice some light pinkish/tan color blood on the tp. It's not enough to show in my underwear just when i wipe about every 2 or 3 hours. i have a good friend who is 8 weeks pregnant and just went to the er last week for about the same thing. She told me not to worry that her dr told her it was common in about 1/3 of all pregnancies. My sister-in-law is 8 1/2 months pregnant and said the same thing happened to her at about 8 weeks. Dr told her to take it easy and everything is fine now. Should I be worried? I can't afford a trip to the ER and with it being a holiday weekend I can't call a dr until tuesday. Like I said it's not much and I'm not cramping. My lower back hurst some but no more than it has been the last several weeks. Any suggestions???

I ended my period last week(usually I'm 7 days on it, this time it was shorter, maybe 4 days). Now I'm feeling cramping pains (on the lower abdomen, both sides) like those of (period) and I have vag... discharge kind like of ovulation- white creamy, no odors)

My question is if it's possible to ovulate a week after I ended my period. Usually my cycle is 35 days, so it's toooo early!!!
And if not, what else it could be?

I am 17 weeks pregnant and have heard if you drink a glass of water and lay on your side, it might help get your baby to be active. Anybody ever heard of this?? Is there any other ways to get my baby to be more active?? I want to see if I can feel any movement. I keep thinking I have, but not sure. thanks.

I'm 19 years old and I'm almost 9 weeks pregnant. The guy who is the father was a guy I was "friends" with. He does not know I'm pregnant, and I have no idea how to tell him. I'm scared because it's my fault I'm pregnant, because he asked if I was on b/c and I told him I was, I hanging out with him for 2 strait days and totally forgot to take the pill. I found out a week ago from reliable sources that he is a pedophile (hes 22 and trys to get girls that are like 16), he admitted later that hes a felon, can't hold a job, drinks alot, and is a liar. I'm scared that if I take him to court he might get partial custody (we live within 20 miles of eachother) and hes not a responsible person at all...and somethig might happen to the baby like he would leave it with one of his deadbeat "girlfriends" or guy friends. I don't even want child support..with his income I would only get like 100 bucks a month...I can manage. Can anyone relate? What should I do? thanks.
