I went to private Catholic School from 1969 thru 1980 and had several Bad experiences.
1) Among them was the obvious favoritism shown towards children that came from families who were wealthy and gave generous donations of money and time. In some cases, kids from these families were alowed to get away with things that were Clearly expulsionable offenses according to the schools own rule book. (ie drug offenses, severe assualts etc...)

Given the current scrutiny and reduction of support to the Catholic Church because of the sex scandles, it is reasonable to assume that the Church's need for money has, if nothing else, Increased. Has Anyone with children in a current Catholic school system experienced or witnessed passive Or active favoratism to children from wealthy families?

I am concerned because in Many cases, favoritism to one child ends up hurting another and we are at a dissision point as to whether or not My son with go to Catholic school.

I just saw a question from an 11 year old asking if someone would go out with her. This is really disturbing. This site has so many bad things on it. I have seen perverts and just plain out creepy people. These kids shouldn't be advertising themselves. Your thoughts?

okay. i am pregnant and my boyfriend and i are okay with that...actually were happy about that. we are both adults that live on their own...well we live together. anyways we have been together for a while and we aren't sure when and how to tell his parents. My mom is supportive but I am more scared of his parents reaction.I don't know why...so whats the best way to tell his parents i am pregnant and when. i am like six weeks now.

My 10 month old daughter has ear infection in both of her ears. She has medication ear drops and an antibiotic but she still will not sleep the night and she has spurts of uncontrollable crying. It breaks my heart to hear her crying like that, does anyone have any suggestions?

Ok my mom died when I was 8 I am now 14, but instead of the hurt going away it comes stronger. Why does it do this??? It seems like everything I do reminds me of my mom now, what should I do???
If you are going to tell me that I need to talk to someone older like a friend, I have an 18 year old friend and she is like a big sister to me but I don't want to bug her with my problems. But should I still try to talk to her???

I'm 20wks pregnant and not showing much, just a small pooch. When I lay down you can really see the uterus though all the way to my belly button, but I still don't have a "pregnant" looking belly?? And from about 18wks or so I have been feeling the baby from the OUTSIDE of my tummy!!! I really have...like it's rolling around and pushing. Could that mean that there really isn't enough room for it? I am thinner around 118 when I got pregnant and 5' 6" and have a longer waist. This is my 1st pregnancy and I'm just worried, my next doc appt. is this wed. though, so I'll ask him then and see the ultrasound too!!!!! Thanks!

I can't believe how much baby items are now a days when women have there first baby they usually want new stuff I don't know about averyone else but I don't have a big family or alot of people helping me out so I'm on my own to buy all of this it just seems crazy that they are charging us so much money, and on top of that we have to buy baby food which is high as hell. I hate to see how much it goes up to later on down the line.

Out of stubborness my toddler out of the blue has stopped using his manners. Im not strict about other words such as please and your welcome, I mean he's only 2(that can be taught in time) but I have been strict with thank you. Should I impose it on him and not give him what he wants or should I let it be? Im not quite sure he understands when I tell him "say thank you." And I feel really guilty hearing him cry. HELP!
