when I had my baby I lost lots of weight but after I had my shot I started gaining it back could it be the shot or is it too soon? I am breastfeeding my baby .

It could be the shot, I would contiune on your daily regiment and maybe step up the exercise a little bit. I have heard of the shot making women gain a few extra pounds.

Yes it could very well be the shot because the same thing happened to me I started taking Depo right after I had my son and I gained like 10 pounds in the first 6 months and not to scare you but I gained a lot of in my stomach,hips thighs and but.

It is most likely you have gained the weight because of the shot. Depending on the person, the depo shot can cause you to lose weight or gain it. Don't worry

It could be the shot. Everyone I know who took it gained a lot of weight and it started right away. My boss shrunk two inches and gained 80 lbs while she was on the shot. That thing's evil. No way I'd get that crap injected into my body.

I gained 25 lbs. on Depo and that was over 2 years. It is very notorious for causing weight gain but noone ever told me that before I started it.

Yes it does sound like the depo shot. I had the same thing with my first. After I had him i went on the depo shot and gained like 15lbs. After I got off of it, i dropped like 20. Just a question to answer a question, y are you on depo when your breast feeding? My doc told me to stay off it if i wanted to breast feed.

Oh yeah, that's one of the disadvantages of the depo, weight gain.

bingo that shot is no good, my sister gained 30 pounds on that shot for only 3 months get off of it now

yes, depo is a horrible thing. it makes you gain weight, makes you moody, decreases sex drive.. get off of it!
