I am scheduled for my first doctor's appointment tomorrow. I will be 5 weeks pregnant... what do they do at these first appointments anyways? Just test you to be sure, give you prenatal vitamins and get your medical history? Just wondering... thanks.

My son is 4 and a half months. Today was my cracking point. My boyfriend is basically a good guy, but if we get in an argument he up and leaves for days at a time. i need help with raising my son and he doesnt help me by leaving. I started a really bad period. Ive been bleeding a lot. More than usual and i am anemic. I have no groceries and havent eaten in two days. My boyfriend keeps sendine me letters on the internet about how he loves me but i have to treat him better. He's 22 yrs older than me. I have lost it. I have cried for the past two days. My son cries and all i want to do is cry and make him be quiet. Id never hurt my son. Id hurt myself though. Im scared. I want him to come home so i can leave for a day. Just for a break. I dont know what to do. I havent had friends for a whole year either. I have to go to the store. My sons almost out of formula, yet i cant even leave my room without bleeding a lot. What should i do.

He screams with glee, frustration, happiness, when he wants something, when something is taken away, even at the dog. I think he enjoys it. But my eardrums don't. He is my 4th child...I should know how to conquer this...but none of my other kids were screamers. If you firmly tell him "no"...he cackles off laughing hysterically.

Always so much judgement passing from mother to mother. Why? I see it everyday, and I can't understand why women are this way. At least this seems to be prevalent in the United States.

I want all pregnant woman to read this if they are thinking of abortion .....last year i got pregnant and was made/forced to have an abortion and it was THE BIGGEST mistake i ever made....think that child inside you is inocent and deserves a chance to live ,,you can always adopt if you cant keep it,i do not think abortion should be make illegal but i dont agree with it anymore....after everything my abortion has taught me never ever to even consider it again.....what do you lot think.....its been a year the end of this month since i aborted my child and i miss it so much i think that it would of been 3 months old....if anybody has just had one or is thinking of it i will help you through it..skinnyminniekitten@yahoo.com thanks

I already have two boys. I heard the sex of the baby is determined by the male because there are X and Y sperm. The Y (male) sperm are quicker and die faster. The X (female) sperm are slower but live longer. Because of this I concluded that if my husband and I only have sex about 2 or 3 days before ovulation, when I get pregnant it should be a girl because the male sperm should be dead by then. Sperm can apparently live for 4 days. Do you think It'll work?

Hi, i am the one that asked a question yesterday about inducing well today i have a question about pain. I have been having labor pains but they are still to far apart to go to the hospital they are 2-3 hours apart lasting about 30-45 sec. I have been having this stabing pain in my uterus everytime i start walking around and it hurts real bad and i also get them when im laying and the baby moves. I was just wondering if any one else thats as far along as me are getting the same pain or what could it mean? My mom is a nurse and she said that it sounds like the baby is trying to break my water but i don't know. This is my first baby and i have no idea what it could be. I have a drs. appt in the morning at 9:30 and he said he might induce then. Please HELP! Also i am 39 weeks tomorrow.

The only ifo i have is , i know my last name, where i was born , and the agencie i was from DYFS.

i get this cold burning sensation in my throat almost every night and it can sometimes make it hard for me to breathe. i know that its not heart burn or indigestion. only had it for about a week though. can someone please tell me what it is and if it's normal to have this when pregnant?
