Sounds like it is worth a try. You won't know until you read it and give plenty of time for the strategies to work! Remember that you will have to stick to a routine and a plan for a while before things settle down. Get your kids into a rigorous routine (not by force but by the same things going on at the same time EVERY day) Sounds monotonous, however for children it gives them their sense of STABILITY and they are more confident if they know what to expect. This routine will help relieve some of the anxiety and misbehavior that stems from not having total direction. Young kids and even teens NEED STRUCTURE. I hope the book offers you some tips that work for your particular situations. Good luck!

It's pretty dated. If they are driving you crazy maybe you should find a more recent guide that will keep up with what kids are doing these days.

I don't reccommend purchasing a guide just sit the kids down and tell then how things are gonna be!!

Buy them some crayons and some videos/dvds.

Always remember, listen to all the advise people give and then use your head to belive what you want.

hey hun....no book can teach you love and patience towards your kids like they can...that's what their there for...most kids act up because they are wanting more attention...usually if you can find some one on one time with them it will help....whether its reading a book or playing a special game...it sounds like they are simply competing for your attention....love daisy
