I can tell you are in pain. And I hold the pro life movement accountable for your pain. It is sick to think that you are killing a child when you have an abortion. Abortion was invented by God to end a pregnancy when it is right to do so. There is no murder, or killing of any kind in abortion. To think otherwise you would have to believe that God is a murderer or killer when he aborts via miscarriage. It is clear that in such situations, God takes the life of the fetus and saves it for another day. Abortion is not about death it is about life. Abortion saves the life of the fetus for another day.
There are some sicko's out there that believe that abortion is death or murder. Those nuts believe that it is OK to kill doctors, harass women such as you and to bomb clinics. But you don't have to believe these nuts. You can instead believe in a loving God that does not kill in abortion and does not believe in killing doctors. The choice is yours. You can continue to suffer under the beliefs of the pro life movement or you can accept Christ and ask for forgiveness for believing the Pro life line.

I made the same mistake in 2004, but under diffent circumstances. Once it was done, I felt like crap. Physically but especially emotionally. I cried every day. It would hurt so much when I would see pregnant woman or woman pushing babies in a stroller. I basically got depressed. I decided that I would go and talk to a grief counsler. That helped alot. Everyone always has something to say. But when they are put in the same position, then they clam up. I am currently 7 months pregnant. And I have promised myself that I will not do that again. I just have to be more careful, and take extra precautions. Talking to someone did help. Look for some support services in your area. You will never forget what you do, regardless of the reasons. But at least it will make it easier to go on.

i have always thought i was pro abortion - i am 31 and never had to deal with unplanned pregnancy. Anyway i am pregnant now and thought i was miscarrying last week at 10 weeks. i had an ultrasound and saw that little beating heart and then thought i have changed my opinion a little.

I would not force my views on others but i certainly would not consider it for myself unless there was something seriously wrong with the babys development.

Do not beat yourself up about your decision. Remember too that there is a fine line between having an opinion and making others feel bad about their decision.

It is a toughy.

You were forced to have one? Nobody can force you to have an abortion. It all depends on the individual as to how it will affect them. I know lots of women who have had abortions and said it was the best decision they have ever made. I also know a few on the other side the feel the way you do. So it all depends on how you feel personally about it.

I say DONT GET ONE-- But please use protection so you dont have to come across this situation. Been there done that. It is regretful and repentful. Dont let emotions and anyone stand in the way of that living being inside of you. You will get through it all. Call a pregancy crisis center to help you keep your baby and help you have a place to live and a job etc.... This is a message to all who are "thinking about abortion". Find help, there is some out there if you search for it.

Abortion should not be forced by anyone . If i pregnancy occurs due to rape or incest I see the abortion is possible , only if the woman wants it then . Also if a woman knows that the child will be born with life threatening illness or disfigurement , then again abort only if the woman agrees to it . NO ONE SHOULD BE FORCED TO HAVE A CHILD OR ABORT A CHILD IF SHE DOESN'T WANT TO . IT'S HER BODY !

You sound like you are in a lot of pain...

If you are in the U.S. I suggest you call Exhale at 1-866-4 EXHALE. They offer a free after-abortion talkline that provides emotional support, resources and information. All calls are completely confidential and counselors are non-judgmental.

I will be thinking about you. I know it seems impossible right now, but try to forgive yourself. You had no way of knowing when you had it that it would be so difficult afterwards.

I totally agree.....one of the main reasons Im a republican. Abortion is wrong....and its a choice that shouldnt be an option. It stays with you forever. I think everyone should choose life.....no matter what. Innocent life has no say so......so its up to the mother to do the right thing.

I recommend that you visit http://www.healinghearts.org

You can sign up for a free, confidential online post-abortion study there. You will be paired with an email counselor. Most of the counselors are women who have aborted children themselves. They will be able to help you.

im a christian and that may affect my view on this. but i think ur right, abortion is wrong. while it may save a baby from heartache in the beginning and fill it with questions later, it is still wrong. one of the 10 commandments is "thou shall not kill" if it were me, i would put the baby up for adoption. STOP THE MADNESS!!!
