I was told when I had my 3rd child I could pick any name I wanted. First, middle, and last. But think about this first... Hes not in the US. The child is living with you here and if you are never married to this guy, and he winds up not being there the child will wonder why he/she hasn't got your name.

What difference does that make? You can name your child anything you want. If you mean the last name- sure.

You can name your child after whomever you wish. It doesn't matter if they live the USA.

you can name him anything you want .but I don't think it's a good idea to name him after his father unless you are married you may regret it in the future! I did !

you can name your child ANYTHING you wish... you can NOT, however, name the father on the birth certificate without his consent at the time of the birth! if you are married he can be named without question.
FIRST, MIDDLE, AND LAST can be ANYTHING in the world
