Yes we made it up. We liked Katheryn and Hayley so we used Kait from Katheryn and the ley from Hayley.

She's not going to be a little girl forever. She'll be an adult one day and will have a name of a uuunike 4 year old.

Since you asked for honest, I'll admit that I dislike made up names. Clearly many people love them. But I do know other people who laugh and snicker when they hear about kids with some name their parents invented.

I really do not like it I am sorry. I do not like the weird made up names, they may sound unique but are usually just another thing for the child to be teased about. I am sorry if that offends you, but I really hate it and think it sounds silly.

Pretty! :) I like it when couples come up with their own unique names for their children or when they mix up names of family members. That's what I did, even though my daughter's name is pretty common. Congrats!

do u want ur child beat up in and out of school. ... u gotta think ur child has to live with there name for the rest of there lives ... come up with something more loving like mackenzie or something i mean give ur kid some love and name it a real name .. dang
