My daughter just turned 2 in June. She is very smart and catches on to things very fast. I would like to know if anyone has any tricks they used to teach thier toddlers new things. Any suggestions would help. I just want to teach her more because she really seems like she wants to learn more.

I am breastfeeding my 9 mth old, with occasional jar food in between, about 2 jars a week. She doesnt like it much. Anyways, I always forget to take the mini pill, (considering a different type), and my husband and I have had sex. I have not gotten my period yet, going on 20 mths and have no idea when it is a good time to check if I possibly could be pg. Would be happy if I was but want to make sure I get proper care before i get too far along.

I'm 12 weeks pregnant, I feel sick 24/7 and I'm tired of eating crackers and drinking lemonade. Sweets make me feel gross, home fragrances make me want to gag. Is there anything else that will decrease my desire to vomit, esp in public? I def. need suggestions.

I am going to be 21 in February, my boy friend is going to be 24 in a few weeks. We have been together for 4 years, and living together for 3 yrs.

Me and my boyfriend are sooo happy together, and he wants to have a baby really bad, but he said he would prefer too wait another year or two, but if i was to get pregnant now he would still be very happy. I think about having a baby from the moment i wake up, till the time i go to bed. I hear about girls who i went to school with having babies and i can't help but feel a little jealous. I watch all of those stupid baby shows like " A baby story".

I just got my real estate license and have started to work for a good company, and i know i should wait until i am more established, but the thought is consitantly on my mind. I KNOW it's a lot of work, believe me i am not one of those girls who think that having a baby means dressing my child in cute outfits and showing them off, and playing in the park together.

I don't want to go early but this is my 4th pregnancy and I had complications w/ my lastone leading to c-section. Evening Primrose Oil does not start labor it just helps thin the cervix which I have had a past of having to have cervix softeners after being admitted for labor. They cannot use the softeners for a vbac due to poss. rupture of the uterus. That is why I am looking into using this as close to my DD as possible. I just want to here of others who have used it and their comments. Besides castor oil can cause severe upset stomach and can even cause the baby to have a bowel movement before birth (meconium) again I don't want to go early just help me to have successful NATURAL vbac. Any advice?

Yes, she is a little spoiled. . . and she cries when she doesn't get her way. If we fuss at her or tell her no, she tends to trip over something or bump into something and then cry that she's hurt. This happens all the time. Sometimes in public I'm sure people think I'm mean when I say "you're fine. Come on."

My son who is 3 is also somewhat whiney. I apparently do something without realizing it to encourage this.

Any advice?

I was just wondering how many people have had a doctor tell them they were having a boy/girl from the ultrasound and at birth the found out the doctor was wrong. Im having a boy, Im happy about it....but I was just thinking we have got a lot of boy clothes, bedding, ect and what if the doctor was wrong. I have heard that ultrasounds could be wrong, but they said if the doctor tells you that you are having a boy its pretty much set that your having a boy but Ive heard that sometimes a girl could be mistaken and actually be a boy. Anyway Im just wondering if your doctor told you right or not?? Also I know what ultrasounds are suppose to be more correct these days so it may be less common then use too.

FYI - I haven't..
I've heard so many horror stories about it, but when I was tanning, there was no warning on the tanning bed - only that you may get skin discoloration.

Four-year-old Roy MacMillan, a frequent observer of monsters in his closet, under his bed, and behind his drapes, was reassured by his parents that the vast majority of these creatures do not exist. "You're just being a silly boy—you've seen scary monsters a hundred times lately, and I'll bet you were imagining at least half of them," Roy's mother, Tracy, told her son after he rushed into their room late Monday night. "There's only room in your closet for three or four monsters, honey. Or two very, very big ones with sharp teeth and long claws." Steven MacMillan reiterated his wife's reassurances, explaining that he would certainly protect his son from all but the very biggest, strongest, meanest monsters, although those would probably be full after killing and eating Roy's mom and dad first and wouldn't come for Roy until a few months later when he's at the orphanage.
