I hope the answer you were looking for is whether 12 was too young physically to be pregnant, because a girl certainly has the ability at 12 to get pregnant. Should a girl be pregnant at 12? Lord no! Her parents need to be more involved in her life if she is.

Fact - once a girl has her first period and is sexually active, she can fall pregnant. So no, it's not physically too young to be pregnant.
Reality - In society today, it IS too young to be pregnant because it is not common so she would have difficulty being accepted by her peers. Also, she would have difficulty financially supporting herself since the youngest working age is generally 15 years. I'm sure in some countries and some cultures this may be different but in the western world, I think a 12 year old would not be mature enough to raise a child.

I am 41 and a mom of 3 kids.. When I was 12, I was riding my bike, swimming, playing softball, in dance classes, doing homework, playing kick-the-can with the neighborhood kids, telling ghost stories at sleep overs....I was NOT however, IN BED WITH BOYS. Where has the innocence of today's children gone??????? AND by the way, have any of you watched "Maury" lately? OMG how many men could possibly be one baby's daddy??????? There is something terribly wrong with today's society. I sure hope you are not pregnant if you are a girl and if you are a boy I sure hope you did not get anyone pregnant. WORD OF ADVICE.....don't listen to what HOLLYWOOD has to say about what being cools is......try talking to your parents or clergy about pressure or stresses. 12 year olds are babies having babies in MY opinion At 12 you are supposed to be a KID ,,,,,,,enjoy your youth while you have it........Life dos NOT get any easier the older you get AND having babies adds to stresses of life because your life is not your own anymore.......I will pray for you

It is possible to become pregnant at 12 but it is too young to raise a baby. Twelve year olds are not mature enough to handle having sex!

Absolutely! But if you are already there it is better to go through with the pregnancy - you do have other options like adoption if you don't feel that you can take care of the baby....there are alot of people out there that would love to be parents and can't get pregnant.

YES, it's a retarded idea at that age most young girls don't even have the complete organs to produce a baby. The out come would be the baby will not survive.
