Hey, I think it depends on your pregnancy, really. My first and 3rd were carried high (a boy then a girl). My middle was carried low, and she was a girl. Every pregnancy is different. You can only determine the sex of the baby 1 of 2 ways- ultrasound or amniocentesis. Period. End of story.

Ive heard that carrying the baby low means a boy and carrying high it means a girl. My friend is carrying high and the doctors tell her its a girl, and Im having a boy and Im carrying low. Im not sure yet if its a old wives tale but I will know soon for myself (Nine months).

It's an old wives' tale....even though when I was pregnant I carried low and my ultrasound showed what I thought all along...I was having a boy.

old wives tales..i believed it before i got pregnant with my baby. im 8 months pregnant right now and im carrying high my friend is having a boy also and carrying high....every girl is going to be different. =)

I don't think theres any actual proof but don't underestimate old wives tales....I haven't know one time this one has failed. High for a boy and Low for a girl.

Old wives tales...even just plain guessing is accurate 50% of the time...hit that a few times and you'll THINK you can tell, but you really can't.

it' doesn't matter how you "carry" the baby. It will be whatever it is going to be. the only guaranteed way to know the sex of the baby is a amniocentesis,(no ultrasounds are not guaranteed, they do have a good "guess" rate, but they can still be wrong.)
I carried all three of mine low, and i have two boys and one girl

Sometimes that true but it does depend on your body and the baby's body. One wise tale that did work for me is the ''pee one''...(you have to be kinda far into the pregnancy) if your pee is bright, like neon then its a boy and if it is dull colored, like closer to orange then its a girl. I had a beautiful boy :)
