My husband and I are adopting. Wed. the 18th was our first visit with the brother and sister which is 4 and 5. My husband and I have been waiting for this for seven years.
The kids will come to live with us this Friday. We are over joyed. This is a blessing from the Lord.

Congratulations! I was fortunate enough to be adopted at the age of 1, I know how much these children will appreciate having a loving family. You will find that you didn't know how to love until you loved these children.

Congratulations and happy expectations. Be prepared, though, they may be coming with emotional baggage if they have had a rough life. Good that they are being kept together. I'm sure that you will all do just fine. Happy parenting!

Congradulations and you are, in my book, heroes. It is rare that one couple adopts sibilings. Usually only one gets adopted by one a couple and the other by another couple.

May the blessings of the Lord shine upon your new family.

The Gift of Life

I didn't give you the gift of life,
But in my heart I know.
The love I feel is deep and real,
As if it had been so.

For us to have each other
Is like a dream come true!
No, I didn't give you
The gift of life,
Life gave me the gift of you.
