My son has being having some major problems and up til now all the tests were good...today they called and the test for leukemia came back positive...they want to run more tests to be sure...So how do you deal with this...I am so lost and confused right now...I have no idea.

My boyfriend and I are thinking about having a baby. We love each other. We both have good jobs and we are both 23. The problem is he already has a son with his ex-girlfriend. The fact that he has a kid with his ex bothers me greatly. Am I wrong to be upset about that? Am I wrong to not want children with him because of it? Anyone have experience in this situation?

okay yesterday i went to the doctors to get a blood pregnancy test and she also did a pap smear. then around 9 last night i went to the bathroom and i wiped and there was a tiny bit of blood. and its the same thing today. what is this. is it from the pap smear or what? it no cramping or anything just spotting. please help.

I work for a family as a nanny for a seven week-old. She is on a strict schedule which we can usually adhere to w/out trouble. But now her brother goes to swim practice at 8am, and her nap isn't until 9. She loves falling asleep to the sound of water, so she's fast asleep at the poolside? Does anyone have ideas of how to keep her awake while her brother swims for his hour-long practice?

we just had a baby and our four year old has been use to all of our attention. I was just wondering how parents with two or more children juggle teaching their children what they need to know (at different ages), their attitude changes, work, housework, family and finances?
My four year old is going into head start and needs to know how to write his name and recognize and sounds letters out.. nothing dramatic for a four year old but finding time to do this and take care of the baby and the rest of this stuff.. is getting frustrating .. if someone could help me with getting organized or just some advice i would appreciate it!!!

You are 17 and your sister is 13. Almost everyday you play baby toys with her. You play with her not because you want to but because she told you to, cries if you don't, you don't want her to get upset. The problem is that she doesn't understand that you don't like her games and that they are too old for you. Your parents scolded at you everynight & say "you are too old to play baby games with your sister. You should act mature & do things that people your age do. If she plays, it doesn't mean you have to." Your parents don't know that you play not because you are immature but because she told you to & want her to be happy. You don't want to say that because you don't want them to scold at your sister. You expect her to stand up & tell them the truth. But she wouldn't. You are very nice to her but she doesn't understand. She never stand up for you and you always stand up for her. It is unfair. It seems that older sisters always stand up for younger sisters but younger sisters don't.

It's not that he's picky - he'll eat - once in awhile. I think he's just too busy to eat. For instance, if I offer him a bowl of cereal at breakfast (me, him, and his younger sister all sit together at the table) most of the time he won't eat... but if I sit in the livingroom and bring the bowl of cereal out, he will continously come to me to get bites and go back to play. He eats alot like this, but I don't always have time to do that, plus he needs to learn to sit at the table anyway (I cannot take him to restraunts!!!). Any suggestions on maybe menus or tips from other moms who have had the same situation? I

I have tried grounding him from playstation, TV, Computer, and going out to play. I have spanked him maybe 2-3 times over the years and would like to avoid that. He gets in trouble at school for talking back to teachers and trying to show them up constantly, also horseplay with others and talking until he gets in trouble after being warned. He gets good grades (A/B's) exceft for an F in conduct every quarter. Now he got kicked out of school for argueing with a teacher. What is a good serious punishment I can really get a point across to him to stay out of trouble? (Other than kicking his butt)

I don't know if this is a normal feeling of muscles contracting or things within me expanding at six weeks. I went to immediate care to see if it was a UTI or bladder infection or anything and they are taking FOREVER with the results, so I'm getting impatient. I don't pee a great amount thru the day, maybe more frequently, but not a lot of pee comes out, except in mornings. My stomach cramps a little when I have to pee especially bad. Sometimes I am sore under my left ribs, like I've been running and have gotten a cramp. I haven't had my first appointment with my OB/GYN yet so I haven't gotten to ask any questions, like what feelings to expect in my body. Anyone else have or had similar problems?

During 1st pregnancy labor, does the amount of blood loss during labor have anything to do w/how much blood a woman normally loses during menstruation? If a woman normally bleeds alot during her periods, is she bound to lose an insane amount of blood during labor?

Ive been nursing (pumping and bottle feeding bcuz baby wouldnt latch-works great) for about 5 months and have started back up on coffee. Decaf of course, about 5 cups a day. Just started back up last week and now it seems im only drawing about 5-6 ounces between both breasts. I use to get 9-10 oz. I havnt reduced the amount of time between pumping its always every 3 hours even though my baby only eats every 4-5hrs. That keeps up the supply. Dont know what else to blame it on unless my body is just saying enough is enough. In case your curious this works great. Its so convient. Breast milk lasts some say up to 10hrs at room temp I dump after 4. You can pump b4 you go somewhere and if your baby gets hungry you dont have to worry about finding a place to nurse. Plus it frees you up a bit, so you can leave baby with hubby for a walk or something without worring about wether or not hes gonna get hungry while your out. Plus my baby has slept 9 strait hrs every night since hewas 2mo

On the 31st of may i would have ovualted, i had sex on this day, on june the 7th i had light spotting then 2 days later it went heavy to a dark brown colour, after having that for a whole week, i now have this stringy clear vaginal discharge(1st two days had blood in it) and it is still going, i have been to the doctor how said there is no infection and i have done a pregnancy test but it come up negative. I am 26 yrs old, married and have been trying to conceive for the passed 3 months this being the third month. My last proper period was on the 29th April, then on the 29th May i had a 2 day period which every month my period last 5 days which was strange. Then today i saw a light red discharge which i never get 1 week before my period is due, its 8 days since my ovulation day...is this implantation bleeding?? I have been feeling tired lately and had a few stomach cramps and not feeling too hungry, can anybody help??
