Why did your doctor say that? If you don't know then *ask* her. It may be that using Rogaine will potentially cause birth defects. In this case, obviously, you can't use it. But it *might* be that it will probably take you an extra couple of months to conceive. Then you have to decide if that is something you can live with you can live with or not. At least you'll have information to base your decision on.

Bummer! You kind of have four options: no child, adopt, biological child with you having less hair, or biological child with potential birth defects while you keep your hair. I'd go for the second or third. Lots of people have to go off very important medications to become pregnant, so you are not alone in facing such a dilemma. Perhaps there is a safe alternative to Rogaine? Or, maybe your doctor is looking at old research and you want to keep a second opinion? (Remember, though, better safe than sorry!)

That is very tough, but if you want to have a baby you certainly don't want to risk hurting your child. There are several options, you could of course, adopt. You could also wear a wig while pregnant or a large hair bands or scarves. There may be products you could take that would be safe. You can figure this out with a little creative thinking. Question your doctor and cruise the internet for other options. Many blessings.

You have to decide what is more important to you - your vanity or having a child.
