The benefit to going to pee after lovemaking is to avoid getting a urinary tract infection. Once sperm is in there, it is making it's upward travel and the are that you pee comes from in to on that path to wash the sperm away. It only takes one sperm to get you pregnant so whatever may come out when you pee is just the slower swimmers.

No it will not impede pregnancy, but it will help with women to prevent a bladder infection. During intercourse bacteria can enter the urethra. Urinating right after will remove most of this. Good luck

If you are trying to get pregnant, then you can lie down after sex and prop your bottom up with a pillow. This will keep the sperm in and give more of them a chance to swim up to your ovaries. So, if you are trying to get pregnant, I wouldn't suggest running to the restroom although it won't necessarily reduce your chances of getting pregnant, but lying down and propping up might increase your chances (method worked perfectly with baby #2...prego the first month trying!).

However, if you are trying not to get pregnant, running to the restroom will not prevent you from getting pregnant in any way. It is possible to get pregnant the first time, and increasingly possible everytime after that (just due to odds). In fact, if you are using this as your only form of birth control and you are your partner are both fertile, I would guarantee that you will end up pregnant within a year.

No, it is actually a good idea to use the bathroom before and after intercourse if possible. The most important point would be to not try and get out anything but the urine, if you get my drift!!

Nope, by the time you get to the bathroom the strongest sperm will have already made it too far up to be expelled when you urinate. This will help to prevent UTI's but not pregnancy.

No. Your vagina and your urethra are two separate areas. Semen goes into your vagina and up into your fallopian tubes/uterus. It has nothing to do with urine.

If you stand up immediately after sex, some semen will come out, but not all of it...it's already up in there doing what it's supposed to do.

for a guy, has nothing to do with conception....for a girl, I would think when you sit down gravity would pull everything out, so all the sperm would drip out...
