Soon the U.S. Supreme Court will consider whether the District of Columbia’s bans on possession of handguns, even in the home, and on having long guns functional for self defense violate the Constitution.

As the Court sees it in D.C. v. Heller, the issue is whether those bans “violate the Second Amendment rights of individuals who are not affiliated with any state-regulated militia, but who wish to keep handguns and other firearms for private use in their homes.” The federal appeals court for D.C. held that it did.

Let's forget the election of 1964 between liberal Democrat LBJ who supported civil rights and conservative Republican Barry Goldwater who supported "state-rights", for now.

Why do blacks vote Democrat, cons?

Relate your explanation to the fact that black voters have free-will and know what they stand for. Don't just blame Democrats as if black people can't think for themselves.

Recent inteligence reports have solidified Russia and China against US lead sanctions in the US

Russia and China who hold veto's will not allow furthersanctions to pass - and have said so

Bush will be at a dead end once more as he was in the Iraq war

He will push for the "colition of the willing" and have few supporters In the end he will either be forced to:

Attack on his own risking all out world war with Russia and or China

Or he will shut up and back off forever to be known as the President who said

Danger danger Will Robinson

Which will he choose

World war 3 or shut the f--k up and leave well enough alone ?

If world war 3 starts and the nuclear holocost begins I will blame Bush not Putin ----

How about you ?

the republicans and democrats are both the same. The only thing that is important to them is gaining a vote. the democrates scream that they have no control over bringing the troops back to the usa. but truth is they have the power to stop funding the war and bush wouldn't have a choice but to bring the troops back, same to most of the republicans who feel the same way. what makes me even more disgusted is how both parties make promises during campaigns and do another on capital hill. I've been a democratic follower for years but this year i'm voting independent.

MY question is am i the only one who feels this way and what's your opinion about the democratic and republican parties?

I have never flagged or reported anything on here even though I rarely agree with most of the answers on here.
For people who do flag political discussion, what is your motive? I'm sick of great minds being banned from answers simply because they have a conservative opinion.
I can't speak for libs because I don't have lib friends on here. Can you give examples of Conservatives on here doing the same thing? Are your lib friends missing?

If you are an entertainer, Political Bias is understandable, and as a citizen entertainer...its your right. However, I see alot of intentional political bias in the media. Especially on the left lately... This troubles me because I want to watch the news to hear .... well...THE NEWS!!! Not some SLANT on the news spoon-fed to me by some politically motivated hack disguised as a Journalist, who thinks Im stupid enough to take his word as gospel on a topic that conveniently demonizes a idealogical or political opponent...
Im curious, is anyone else out there troubled by the media's political bias particularly in election years? Dont you think they should just report the news like JOURNALISTS are supposed to report it, and not manufacture a story based on whatever fits their political template at the moment?
Dont you think politics belongs OUTSIDE Profesional Journalism?
Whats your opinion of it? Am I the only one who sees how obvious it is at times?
