I hope you are not as devoid of you know what as it seems.
people vote on how they view things themselves.
As for voting by polls, it would not be a bad thing if politicians did that. They would be more popular.
hey wait one second. I think I just solved President Bush and congress's unpopularity dilemna. If they actually pursued policies based on polls, maybe Bush might have a popularity of 70% like Clinton did. and Congress may have one like 65% if they actually passed laws that americans wanted or that benefited americans.
Trust me. In a country that claims to believe in democratic ideals, its not a bad thing to actually listen to the people. Trust me..I am right on this one,no matter what your fascist inclined instincts are telling you.

Heck no. Polls say most people vote by party. Those interested in voting in the primaries vote by the issue that mobilizes them the most.

If the poll is a large population of AMERICANS and can be verified
as a poll I will take the consensus of the poll into consideration if the decision of the people does not violate the constitution.
