Does his actions as president fall in line with that statement?

Why then:

CIA Plame outing
Gonzales gate
Torture
Gitmo
Warrantless wiretaps
Missing emails
CIA video disappearing
more?

Yes he said that but he crossed his fingers at the time and did not pinkey swear.
Additionally he made a signing statement that he is not obligated like all the other laws he made signing statements

Yes, and you'd almost have to be a lawyer to know the laws and a rocket scientist to interpret them. I think most of the politicians are just faking it. Did you know that most presidents used to be lawyers. I think our country is being made a mockery with all this endless.... law language, party of the first part, see appendix A if there's a loop in Appendix B, then thread yourself around this comment, and find yourself in a big knot, just trying to have fun here.

I distinctly remember him saying that yes.
His actions have been not always consistent with that.
You know my position on most things Chi, im not a Bush basher certainly but reality is what it is.

I still disagree on the Plame outing though. There was no outing. But we can disagree on that ;P

His actions fall in line with all the past presidents. Some of them were able to hide more than he does. But at the end of the day,no his action has not fallen into that statement.

More accurately it is a nation with too many laws, and they keep adding up each day.

There are millions of laws, but instead of enforcing the current laws, more laws are passed that won't ever get enforced either.

George W. Bush is really good at articulating vague, simple ideas. And making goofy faces.

His sworn duty is to enforce the laws of the land.

What a joke THAT turned out to be!

I'm sure Bush has said that we are a "nation of laws" many times. Does he believe it? Absolutely! Does he practice it? Absolutely!

By the way, getting your talking points from far left websites like MoveOn.org... Not a very trustworthy source... Not a good idea...
