Cant we all agree - Republicans and Democrats alike - that blaming humans for Mother Earth cycling through her self-healing process is meaningless?

To answer your post;

Since Al Gores prediction of 200 mph hurricanes destroying the east coast of the US in 2006 and 2007. Only one Cat. 1 hurricane has actually made landfall in the last two years. The prophet Al Gore, is not so prophetic after all. Since he also has made a prediction of the worlds end in 2012, I wonder what environmentalists will do when they wake up Jan. 01, 2013 to find that Al Gore was wrong again. This from someone who lives in a place where the temp outside is 10 below zero right now, bring it on.

It's bigger than just being a tree hugger. The Polar Ice Caps are melting. Not from the top, but from the bottom because the water temperature is rising. Large chunks, the size of large buildings, are breaking off and falling into the oceans.

The Polar Ice Caps control the temperatures of the oceans and the temperatures of the ocean currents cause the different weather patterns.

Humans have caused the damage to nature, we burned a hole in the ozone over the Polar Ice Caps. If we do not change our ways ... it will only get worse. There will be no more Ice Caps.

Its not a matter of Dems vs Rep. Its a matter of facing the facts.

it seems you just want to be told your brilliant and any differing opinions are without a clue. the hurricane seasons weren't without storms there were many storms in the pacific rim areas. and besides Ive heard that one of the main components of "global warming", AKA; climate change will be the unpredictability of the normal weather patterns. BTW i am myself still on the fence, i have to admit arguments on both sides are hinkey. though i think the argument that humans cant possibly have that much affect on the earth is laughable that's a childish and stupid assertion. anyone who says this must have been sleeping through grade school . i remember learning about the effect if the industrial revolution in the immediate time period following, soot blackening the trees and dying forests forced an immediate cleanup of the pollution of the factories and where do you think the dust bowls that began the depression came from, the over farming of prarieland. so, no, man made climate change is not beyond the grasp of believability for me.

First off, as mentioned elsewhere, the past hurricane season was quite brutal for Mexico and Central America. That said, the failure of projections with regard to the US simply shows that short-term predictions are not yet possible with great reliability. Granted, the likely cause of recent global warming is most likely the sun, not man; moreover, a recent reversal in deep Pacific circulation should cause global *cooling* over the next 30 years or so. Fact is, the pattern of hurricanes is affected by a complex mix of factors which we haven't sorted out just yet.

I don't think the residents of the areas hit by hurricanes would call them "meaningless". Just because the USA didn't get hit hard, that doesn't make the destruction meaningless, and it's offensive to our neighbors to the south to suggest that. Whatever your point is supposed to be, you're not making it effectively.

To the best of my knowledge, Gore has never said that the world will end in 2012. That is an exaggeration or distortion circulated by pundits to make him look foolish. They should address the issues rather than attacking the man like cowards.

Meaningless???
You are kidding right???
If you lived in the Yucatan or other parts of Central America
hundreds of people died and lost thousands of homes.

Saharan Dust kept dry air above the starting point of storms off africa which is the result of drought which MAY be attributable to climate change or global warming or whatever word your want to use. This kept the storms on a more west track therefore avoiding the land mass of the United States. Translation: It just depends on how the wind blows and by the way we are NOT THE ONLY LAND MASS in the world. Wake up people.
We dont know for sure.
I do know that burning coal which we have been doing for too long is polluting our air.
But since the economy would stop moving as I have heard from so many SMART PEOPLE we should just let it be.
It all goes into space anyway right.
No problem.

The "convince those that by ability of information the huge image and being prepared to preserve it, they are being smart, sensible, and to blame" isn't something which you will assume scientists to with any specific competence. people who can do this style of element nicely are in merchandising, politics, or regulation. i do no longer think of scientists would desire to alter the way they do technological information because of this political controversy. medical verbal exchange is irrevocably replaced by ability of the information superhighway even greater advantageous than by ability of the sheer style of scientists interior the international as we communicate, getting to know the thank you to apply the recent approaches interior the medical community would desire to be a intense precedence, yet this political byplay would desire to be exceeded over in doing technological information. From an engineering point of view, i think of a greater effective point of view is the perception that government help is and could stay heavily biased in prefer of fossil gas industries. Getting something carried out ability looking power suggestions that outcompete fossil fuels regardless of this, and getting to know planetary administration practices which will do away with the excess CO2 we've already further to the ambience and top ocean.

Obviously, there's no such thing as global warming. The 3,000 scientists who claim it's happening have all been bought by rich environmental extremists, and the polar bears are in on it. Al Gore has secretly set up millions of hair driers around the arctic, antarctic and Greenland and set them all on high. The 6.6 billion people cranking out carbon have no effect whatsoever on the Earth's atmosphere. Go to sleep...go to sleep.
